Thanks for peeking!

Here are a few purses that I made the past couple of weeks. Thanks for peeking!

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Sharks, leopards and polka dots! on: March 31, 2009 10:46:42 AM
I threw these together yesterday. I REALLY like the poka-tote...

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Dachshund Purse on: November 26, 2007 01:04:15 PM
Here's is a pretty simple box shaped purse I made for my friend. She's in love with weener dogs and has two of her own, Skittles and Tweek. They really are gross animals... hers anyway.  Wink

So here's the bag. The lining is flannel with a really bright, colorful retro design. There are three pockets on the inside, for cell-phone, wallet (or cigarettes) and a velcro pocket for change or a spare key.

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Candy Skull and Polka Dots! on: October 11, 2007 03:42:25 AM
This is my first purse/tote I've ever made. I have made messenger bags before... But anyway.

I love the colors, even though they ended up reminding me of the Joker from Batman. Which will probably lead me to make a bag with that sort of theme.

So here are the pics. Sorry for the poor quality.

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Origami Critters on: October 10, 2007 03:38:51 AM
So I've been going in with my dad to help him in his host nation class at the elementary school. While the little kiddies are doin their thing, I was doing mine. A frog, bear, cheetah and parrot.

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Smelly, crusty old smoking chair into Radical new smoking chair! on: August 18, 2007 05:09:52 AM
One day a close friend of mine and I decided to revamp her old smoking chair. I loved the shape and the feet on it. She was about to throw it out, as she was moving into a new apartment. So I decided we should get crafty.

Here it is before.

And with a few dozen staples and a trusty, powerful staple gun, here it is new and alive!

8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Painted Tattoo Flash Baby Shoes on: May 03, 2007 10:54:11 PM
Ok, so I finally was able to fulfill my yearish-long dream of buying itty bitty baby shoes. I can't get over how friggin small they are! Adorable! anywho.... Chucks are a huge fan of mine, like so many other people. I got my sister a pair of little black ones for my impending nephew! I thought I'd be the coolest aunt ever and hook em up with some painted chucks with little tributes to mom and dad.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Bandana + Tank= Sweet Beach Fashion (6 pics) on: April 27, 2007 05:29:20 AM
Hi there!

I was buying bandanas to somewhat contain the fuzzy monster on my head when I came upon this righteous pot leaf/rastafarian bandana. I thought it would make a great tank, especially in Europe! Even though there's no beaches here to swim at, I did it anyway. I miss the ocean so bad after living at GTMO for 4 years! Anywho!

There's a tutorial I made in case anyone liked it that much. Have fun guys. Cool

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A little late for prom pics... But here's a DIY dress on: August 17, 2006 05:50:54 AM
I didn't have a clue how I was to afford a really nice prom dress. It was the last chance I'd have at prom, as I graduated early, so I wanted to make an impression on my friends and family. My mom and I clawed through design book after book. I found this really unique, (i think) looking dress and I chose some cool colors for it. The original was white and pink. I love the ribbon in the back. The top is ribbed so fits and acts like a corset. So here's the dress my mom and I made.
