I love seeing post of everyone elses FO so I thought I would post some of mine.  Here are a few of the things I have finished lately.

This is a stocking (my own pattern) for my puppy Shay.

Knitty's Daisy sweater made in Lily Sugar n' Cream.

Socks (my own pattern) in Knitpicks Parade for Tater but they don't fit so now they are for my niece.

Baby socks from my pattern (Ali's Baby Sockies) posted here on Craftster in Knitpicks Simple Stripes

Knitty's Branching Out in Knitpicks Shadow (yarn held doubled)

Fulled mittens (my own pattern, hopefully coming soon) in a wool yarn I paid $1.00 for at the thrift store.

Irish Hiking Scarf in Bernat Satin (2 skeins)

Thanks for looking! Smiley
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Kids Gloves? on: November 06, 2007 07:48:04 AM
Does anyone know of a pattern for kids gloves in worsted weight? I am so tired of the store bought ones that don't keep their fingers warm when they are playing and they refuse to wear mittens. They say that when they wear mittens they can't use their fingers...picky picky girls Smiley. I have googled but came up empty. Any help is appreciated. TIA

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ali's Baby Sockies [img heavy] with pattern on: October 10, 2007 07:20:27 AM
I love making baby things even though I don't have babies anymore. Sad  I have been making these socks for awhile now but thought it was time to share the pattern cause they are so easy and so cute. Grin I hope ya'll enjoy making these as much as I do.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Cabled Hand and Coffee Warmer [img heavy] on: October 09, 2007 02:59:29 PM
When I walk my girls to the bus stop in the morning I MUST have my coffee but my fingers always freeze while holding my mugs so what is a knitter to do?  Cheesy Well I sat down today and came up with this.....

Thanks for looking!

I made this for a large (12.5 inches around) coffee mug. I suggest measuring around your mug to make sure it won't be too big.  You also may be able to go down in needle size but you want to make sure you still have enough room for your hand to fit inside when you are finished.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Wall decor with Greeting Cards on: September 20, 2007 11:48:13 AM
I HATE clutter and dust so what do you do with those cards you get that you just love or are very special and you don't want to throw them out but you know if you don't do something they will just collect dust?  This is what I do....

I found the frames at the thrift store for around $0.50 and the cards were free so this is not only a cheap way to decorate but also a great way to display cards you can't part with.  Thanks for looking!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My Lelah! on: September 20, 2007 11:29:04 AM
I made my lelah outta softee chunky.  I wanted to make it out of a cheap yarn first because it was only my second adult project that the gauge mattered and I didn't want to ruin a nice yarn because of my inexperience.  It turned out to be too bulky to be a top but it is super cute as a skirt.

Thanks for looking!

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Mirrors, Table and Chair -- img heavy on: September 20, 2007 09:09:04 AM
I love to find ugly things at thrift stores and make them pretty Smiley

I have been pretty busy lately. These are some mirrors I found and fixed up.

I paid $0.75 for this mirror

This mirror was $1.99

This mirror was $3.99

This is a table I was given.  It was scratched up and didn't go with the other woods in our home so I sanded it down and stained it.  I forgot to take before pictures until I was half way through sanding.

And finally this is a chair that was given to me when I was pregnant 7 years ago.  It was nasty and stained up so I recovered it.  I don't have any before pics but here are the after pics.

Thanks for looking.
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Drapes and Pillows on: September 20, 2007 08:45:50 AM
These are pictures of my kitchen drapes and my daughters' bedroom drapes.

I wish I still had that kitchen but we have since moved and now have baby blue counters that do not match with my drapes Sad

These are pictures of some pillows I made out of the leftover fabric from my kitchen drapes.
