1  Went streaking on Halloween! in Halloween Costumes by artsylydia on: November 02, 2009 03:18:35 PM
This was an easy costume to make, especially for how many laughs it got!
I purchased a tan leotard, tights, and black felt (the stiff kind). I cut the felt into rectangles and sewed it into place. You can't see it in the photos, but the back view is also "censored."

I spent the early part of the evening flashing people (thanks to my coworker for the lovely coat!). After that, it was full on streaking! I got a lot of double takes. The costume was definitely a big hit!

2 weeks in!

it covers the couch cushions now!  it's getting so big, it's harder to work with.  especially when i get to the end of a row and have to turn over.  since this is my first large project, do you guys have tips for making my life easier?  when i made my two scarves, i just rolled the finished part up as i went along.  this project seems too wide for that technique to be practical.

hi everyone.  i've been a long time craftster lurker and finally signed up after seeing this topic.  i started my first ripple project (and 3rd ever crochet project) about a week and a half ago.

it's going to be a blanket.  right now it's about 47 x 12 inches.
