Hey. . .I just posted the pattern for my finger puppets on my blog, but I did it off the top of my head, so if you have questions let me know.

The only thing I wish I could change is the poly-fil is showing through a bit with the dark brown yarn.  Don't they make a black poly-fil?  Any other ideas?!?!?

Thanks, everyone!  Jake really liked it, and I'm glad you all do too.  I modified the about.com teddy bear pattern. . .made a long tube for the tail, skinner legs, and a bigger snout.  Hope that helps!

Gave this to Jake yesterday for his 10th b-day.  He loved it!

I'm unravelling a cashmere J.crew sweater I got at the Goodwill right now.  So far it's going well but it is tedious.  Check out this online tute for instructions:

thank you taba and shannon!  Baby is only four months right now, so I'm thinking he'll sleep alot.  I know the poncho is a see-through, but he won't let a blanket cover his face, so I thought this way at least we would be a little discreet.
Thanks again and keep your fingers crossed for us--flying July 8!

palecyreth:  yep, just a rectangle--very easy!

tabarhodes:  thanks for the info on nursing babies on the plane--at least we have a direct flight (I'm hoping that would help).  Do you have any tips to make things easier?  TIA, Molly

I used an old stash of Paton's Katrina my darling mom got me a while back at an AC Moore's clearance in Knoxville, TN (Go Vols!).  I hope to use it on the plane to cover me while nursing the baby.

(Check out my cool beads I got at the Goodwill today!)
