1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Recycled fleece dog bed stuffing? on: October 16, 2006 05:47:13 PM
I read all the posts about dog beds and stuffing them and such....but does anyone know about recycled stuffing from fleece or whatever?  My dog had this really cozy bed that she could sink into - and then her friend peed on it.  I didn't think to examine the stuffing before throwing it in the trash.  I could see that it was def. cut up pieces of fabric.  It never seemed to shift into a but bunch into one end.

Anyway - if you would like to look at the stuffing in your dog's bed and then tell me what it looks like, Dharma and I would appreciate it.  She needs a new bed, I'm tired of sharing mine.  Thanks for any tips!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / umm....CROTCHLESS.....almost on: September 06, 2006 12:09:33 PM
ive had this wonderful pair of jeans forever.  i love them very much.  when they go, i will probably cry.  i don't even wear them out drinking anymore, because you never know what might happen.  and never for just loungin around.  the crotch is getting very worn out.  no holes yet....but starting to get some.

does anyone have any ideas or advice on how to reinforce this delicate area...so that i can sit down without fear. Embarrassed  its a tricky area...and my sewing machine isnt the greatest for small areas (it only performs long, straight stictches, and only on weekends and wednesdays).

please help me to be me again in my favorite jeans.
