Okay so after many many POSTAL ISSUES! Knitty still hasn't rec'd my angel package. Still no help from the post office, but Mcknitty asked me to go ahead and post pics:  (missing from the pics are : The big green toe pincushion ( aparently I am sadestic LOL) and the bowling ball hat that I had sewn for her ( Grin No big loss I wasn't happy with it Sad so it was a freebie) Cheesy I truly hope Mcknitty gets the package soon somehow. Especially since this was the second one I sent her. I was an idgit and didn't take pics of the first package. Lesson learnt Grin LOL SO without further ado:

Tampon cozy Cheesy Because of the whole vaginal art deal. Cheesy The artists name escapes me at the moment... (bear with me lol I am dreadfully sick ) also the lil ribbon is attached via sewing pin because some might not want it on there. I had a friend tell me that was a tad off LOL Cheesy

LOL I told my family (except for dh) it was a hot dog and I messed up on the weenie LMAO when dh discovered the truth, his jaw dropped. Cheesy This package is sooooo not me Grin hehehehehe It was very freeing and fun to do Cheesy
up next is the bowling bag purse Cheesy Because of bowling bags and the print because it reminded me of Bunny Grin It isn't lined because I had to fight the construction! LOL Grin But neatly trimmed and very securely sewn Cheesy

then we have a knitting needle roll : I went with psychadellic yet classy colors Grin :

it is awfully hard to see the pockets.. sorry I didn't think to shove my hand in it. Ia rose marking pencil (for sewing) incase knitty ever gets the bug Grin and because these things are too darn cute for everyone not to have Cheesy

Custom homemade knitting needles (I would use these for display only the bowling pins are raised! ) Cheesy These bad boys took forever! 2 coats of white paint, then one coat of purple, then the white pins, then the red striping. Cheesy

an 80s headband (again thoughts of Bunny) So many friends liked this I had to make several Cheesy LOL

I hate that I cannot find pics of the toe pincushion!!!!!! Sad It was one of my fave things. I will do some digging through my computer, it has to be here somewhere...... Cheesy Then I will modify to include it Cheesy

6  Re: Decorate my house room by room craft-a-long in Craftalongs by diannab on: January 25, 2007 12:52:34 PM
Okay, Cheesy I will post pics of my room later on (it is the one I have been working the most in... LOL) Grin but anyway next up is my kitchen... I desperately need some advice and hope it is okay to ask for it here... Cheesy

only difference is now my chairs are light oak with white backs. Cheesy

this is what my cabinets currently look like. the knobs have blue flowers on them. reminds me of the blue willow china. Grin

these are my kitchen windows. just this set is it. They currently have curtains that I made out of the Waverly Blue Country pattern.

I want to paint my kitchen!!! (anything but white) lol I like the blue willow stuff and my counter top is an electric baby blue. Cheesy Thoughts? Suggestions? Whatever I do has to be rugged and durable because this is the most used room in the house. LOL Cheesy

7  Re: Summer Flower Pants made from sheet in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by diannab on: January 24, 2007 03:40:16 PM
Okay- to get the perfect baggy pants, for me anywho, I took an old pair of pants and laid them out like so:

that is an old drawing I used lol didn't feel like redoing. anywho, make sure it is a pair that you like how the front and back sit and how the crotch fits. Trace out the top part adding a good 2 inches to the top for seams and turning in Grin now just make large rectangles (or triangles if you want a flared raver kinda look ) Grin Thats how I make me baggies Grin heheheheehe

BTW those pants are gorgeous! Cheesy I couldn't pull them off, but definitely pretty!

lol I am looking for my pattern so I can you my measurements, or I can tell you how I got my measurements--- lookie :

Okay Let's do measurement one first:
REMEMBER ADD FOR SEAM ALLOWANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
measure the length of your forehead (where you want the banada thingy to sit)  .okay write that down Grin you will add 4 inches to each piece this will form the protective tail and two ties.

Alright measurement two:
REMEMBER ADD FOR SEAM ALLOWANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

measure from where the bandana will end (where I have the red lines drew) and measure where the two joining seams should be. I eyeballed mine. the rectangle was 6 inches wide for my dh.

this will give you your three pieces. I will go find my pattern pieces momentarily and measure them but I was trying to give you an idea on how to come up with measurements so you get a custom fit. Grin If you make some post them, I would love to see how this turns out Grin

I had never heard of the baglady til now! THanks for that site! Grin
