Here is the wonderful sock I received from tattooedcrafter. I love the colours and it fits perfect too. She dyed the yarn herself and it smells wonderful Cheesy.

eta: I might try to take a few better photo's if I can get some daylight, the colours are even brighter than the picture shows, I really love it, I've been walking around with one incredibly warm and colourfull foot all day Grin

That's looking good singlemom, looks like you got a lot done allready!

This is what mine looked like a couple of days ago; I'm almost done with the first half front now, working on the strap, hopefully tomorrow I'm casting on for the second half!

4  Re: Dishalicious Dishcloth/Washcloth Swap Round 3 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by irilab on: July 11, 2007 02:31:04 AM
I received from jenny.bloodless yesterday and I got an amazing package! Because we live on different sides of the world we had agreed to swap a few extra bits, look at what I got:
everything wrapped up in gorgeous paper:

a whole lot of goodies, three gorgeous cloths, yummy sweets, lovely paper, an eraser maker kit to do with the kids, pez dispensers (there was a hello kitty one as well but my DD ran off with it before I could get it in the picture Wink) and a lovely bar of felted soap, I've seen them on crafster but I never actually seen one IRL Smiley.
Here are some pictures of the lovely cloths:

I think this one is my favourite, look at the cute fish-button!

this one is now being used by my DD as a barbie blanket because she thought it was way too pretty to wash dishes with!

and one with a shamrock for the DH (he's Irish Wink)

I'm so spoiled, Jenny thank you so much, I love everything!

*edited to make the pictures a bit bigger (finally figured it out -I hope..), this way you can actually see the cloths Wink

I know my partner received and I know she has limited internet-access so i thought I'd post the cloths I sent to her, I hope that's not against craftster etiquette Undecided

So I knitted two in a lace pattern:

and a crocheted star:

I hadn't really done any lace before, but it I enjoyed doing it!

So much always happens while I am sleeping.  It is nice to know I can always wake up to a few more dishcloths.
lol I have the same Miss_Vicky. So many nice cloths again! I love the crazy stich one, thanks for posting the pattern! I've made one allready and it's a real fun pattern.

I received from ambivalentgirl today! Two lovely cloths, 1 knitted and 1 crocheted:

I hope you can see them, I don't know why my images always come up so small?  Huh
I really like them! See how well the blue ones matches the tiles in the kitchen! Thanx so much ambivalentgirl!

and here are mine, well the ones for my DS that is... They had to have skully thingies on them of course. They were really fun and quick to do. Thanks for the tutorial Lydia, I'm sure I'll be making more (two more kids with cold feet to go  Cheesy)

8  gardenscarf and hat! in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by irilab on: September 25, 2006 01:54:46 AM
Someone here posted a picture of a solid colour gardenscarf, I really liked it so I thought I'd make one for my SIL (she loves all things pink). I also made a matching hat, the same flowers joined to a 'hat base' flat circle dc and then some rows. It looks a bit goofy on me, it's slightly too small (I have a really big head so I used my husbands head for size, but he wouldn't pose for the action shot Grin).

hat and scarf

thanx for looking!

9  my very first crochet FO ever! in Crochet: Completed Projects by irilab on: August 16, 2006 02:07:14 PM
A bit apprehensive to post this, everybodies stuff is so nice  Undecided. But I was very proud of this bag, I made it about 5 months ago when I first started crocheting. I wanted to use the squares to make a babyblanket (which I did afterwards) so the bag was a trial project. I didn't even know those squares were called granny squares at that point, I had a (bought)scarf with those squares so I tried to copy the pattern, not knowing it was probably the most used motif of all time  Wink.
I gave the bag away as a birthdaypresent to a friends daughter who turned 3 and she loved it, carried it around the whole day..
