Pretty nails  Smiley I've been attempting simple nail art recently which has surprised my hubby as I don't think I've painted my nails in the 10 years we've been together! I'd bitten my nails badly whilst he was in crisis but I have managed to get them back to a nice length now so I have been experimenting.

I did spots for starters

then daisies
and then as September is Womb Cancer Awareness month and the colour used is peach I did peaches on gold and donated money to G.R.A.C.E

September already, crikey this year has flown! I'm still crafting mainly from my stash although it doesn't seem to get any less not that I mind, I'm never going to be stash free I just want to keep it fluid and moving Smiley

This past summer has been a tough one so I haven't crafted as much as I would have liked. Things are getting better though slowly but surely.
I am well behind on my baby projects and Grandson #2 is due next month. I'm currently working on a Granny square blanket in Earthy colours for my Autumn boy Cheesy I also have to make a multicoloured one like his Daddy had as a child, my son says it doesn't matter of it grows reallllly big as he will be able to snuggle under it with Junior *lol* he's only half joking too.

Oh Smeddley your silk veils are beautiful, I do miss dancing especially when I see lovely costumes or accessories!
The fairy doors are lovely too.

I have another couple of pics to show for my August craft efforts but they're stuck on my phone at the moment! I look forward to seeing all the Autumnal crafts that will be popping up soon, I think Autumn is my favourite season.

prettified is definitely a word! Lots of nifty work there.
pages behind, as usual. Kookaloo I love the lampshade! Did you fabric glue new panels over the old, or sew them?

Thank you Cheesy It's sewn like a skirt and then just glued top and bottom.

Every single post of yours blows me away Patraw! The list of "ingredients" (sorry having a bad day and the real word has gone) always makes me think "Yes! I could do that,I have cereal boxes and newspaper"  Roll Eyes

Lovely knit & crochet work Always' as always  Grin  I think Blake might need a pumpkin hat, I also have to make him a Yoda hat but I haven't found the right shade of green yet.

I've have been wanting a floor lamp for next to my chair and when I popped into the British Heart Foundation shop near the hospital I found the perfect one - well the perfect one to change  Grin

I finished the shade for it this morning and have started revamping the base. Here is the shade.

I don't know which part I love best the peace sign fabric or the pompom trim or the red/yellow/pink/orange fabric. I just know I love it and will love it even more when I have decorated the base  Cheesy

He's nosey and it will drive him up the wall not being able to see what's happening out there! Personally I don't want to see the local drug dealer or the folks up the road who come out of the house to shout at each other, it's bad enough hearing them! I'm very, very tempted to stick 2" squares on the window in the downstairs toilet I think patchwork windows would look awesome at night!  Grin
