1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Erika Knight Cables and Arans book error... or I'm crazy on: January 09, 2009 08:09:40 PM
I'm hoping someone can help me
I am trying the pattern in her book Cables and Arans, pg.129 Bobbles and Waves.
Row 3 has 'T5F' Twist 5 Front.
The back of the book says," slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold in front of work, purl next 2 sts from left hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.
Call me crazy but that's only 4 sts accounted for.
Question is, do I slip 2 onto cn, then work 3 sts, then work the 2 from cn??? or do I slip 3 onto cn, work 2 from left hand needle, the 3 from cn??? Thanks for any help you can give me  Grin
I looked at a websit for errata but it said there was none to post
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ysolda Elijah aka Peanut on: November 08, 2008 11:07:51 AM
Hi All!
I made the Ysolda Elijah. I loved how it turned out.
It was a birthday present for my handsome nephew Isaiahs' 1st birthday.
He was a big hit at the party and has been renamed Peanut. He now enjoys story time with his best friend Isaiah and taking naps in the crib
Thanks for looking!

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Have you dyed your project after you've finished knitting it? on: November 17, 2006 08:56:39 AM
I'm very much into green lately and I want to knit up a sweater that goes from cream to green, has anyone ever tried that? I was thinking of knitting up the sweater and placing one half in a tub to dye it and hoping that some of the green will seep up into the sweater so it looks faded not just a solid green section & a solid white section... Any thoughts would be wonderful!!

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Has anyone seen a pattern for a sweater like this? on: August 03, 2006 03:48:13 PM
It's probably cheaper to buy it than to make it but I'd love to try!
Has anyone seen a pattern for a sweater like this?
Thanks for your help Smiley
