I totally love it. I am a huge Tim Burton fan so I have to anyways, but it also looks so great with the red/white striped parts... they really make up 10000 times for the strange colour of the shirt Smiley

Silly- ok Smiley I remember having heard a cover version of it, but it's neither well known nor any good so I guess you have heard the original which is quite possible... since they still play Indochine's songs from their most popular time in the 80s a lot on all the radios etc.

And thank you again for the comments especially on the sleeves because I was really really unsure about them first... But the whole dress came out being quite "me" which can actually be good I think.  Smiley

Hmm I have heard alcohol, spiritus or glycerine might help. Haven't had to try any of these methods yet though so I can't say if they really work. Much luck though Smiley

thanks for your nice comments Smiley
And yes, Silly, 3 nuits par semaine was really successful the 80s. They have changed a lot since them but in my eyes for good Wink
How come you know them, though? There aren't many people outside most french-speaking countries who do...

oh wow... even if you're not completely happy with it yet, I love it. It looks really cute and I especially love the pink ribbon Smiley

Ok, so this is my very first post on here...

I am going to see my all time favourite band Indochine next saturday in Strasbourg and am really excited already even though my last Indo concert was only in august.
Just as last time, I decided to make a dress for this event. Since most people will be dressing in black, my dress should stick out a bit so it's red-black-white now. Also, their last album and the stage deco have been somewhat influenced by Alice in Wonderland so I came up with this dress...

The design on the front is unfortunately not mine...

And one of the sleeves which are attached to the dress with an elastic that leeds through the upper part of the sleeves, because they look quite strange in the first pic:

I had a look at Lamby's gothic lolita dress before and during the making of the dress and changed some things like the skirt.
Please excuse the bad and BIG pictures, my ugly face and the not rightly pulled up sleeves, btw, but when I made them it was like 4AM Roll Eyes
Thanks for looking at the dress  Smiley I know it's not perfect but I still really like it... tell me what you think Smiley
