That's so adorable!

I've finished the knitting and pinned all the pieces together.

I won't be sewing it together for a couple of weeks because I'm taking a sweater design class where we're learning seaming.  This isn't the first sweater I've seamed by a long shot, but I'm looking forward to actually doing it well for a change!  When I have FO photos, I'll post them.

I also have another photo on my blog:

I like the new Cotton-Ease.  Its pretty much the same as the old, which I absolutely loved.  Its perfect for my climate in southern California. This time around, they've done better on the color palette, although I would like to see a burgundy, an olive green, and some more summery colors that are flattering to my skin tone - something similar to Cotton Fleece's palette.

I'm doing a 3/4 sleeve version for the summer out of the new Cotton-Ease in Berry.  I've made it a little longer and made the ribbing a little deeper.  I also made the v-neckline start higher and I changed the shape a little.  I pinned it together this evening and it looked really cute!  I'm excited to finish.

That sweater fits you so well.  No one would ever guess that you made it - very professional!

I LOVE it!  It's adorable!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: What to do with 3 sks of Kureyon other than a Booga Bag? on: August 29, 2006 03:29:20 PM
There is a pattern in one of the Stitch n Bitch books for a pair of wrist warmers - I think they're called the "Hurry Up Spring Wristwarmers".  They're really cute, and I think they call for about that much Kureyon.

It's actually for my neice, but I have no photos of her in it because it's a surprise.  I intend to take photos of her in it on the day of her christening, though.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Finished Reid! on: August 16, 2006 11:16:02 AM
I finally finished Reid, just in time for my trip to the East coast tomorrow.  She's going to wear it for her christening.  I found a button today that I plan to sew on tonight and then it's officially done!

That is beautiful - great job!  It makes me want to give this pattern a try.
