I'd like in, but I may have to be a bit behind you ladies.......... I have a nother sweater on the needles now, and I promised myself I'd finnish it. Ummmmm, juniperl13 did you say you were using Bernat Satin......... is it the same gauge? I have the same colour in my stash, and I want to make something lovely out of it, this may fit the bill. So........... I will keep you posted as all other do. Let's see some pic's crafters!!!
696  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Bath Salts (step-by-step pics) and a Question on: December 26, 2006 05:40:32 PM
I too went crafty for Christmas, and made bath salts for gifts. I used a smaller amount of oils in mine and the milk powder was not effected at all, it infused rather nicely. I think you would have to listen to Lobster Magnet if it isn't too late. Or place them in the oven on a low heat to get the moisture mostly out of them....... as I said my mixture had oil in it and had no adverse effects on the milk powder with the smaller amount of moisture. I love the green tea and coffee idea!!! I used essential oils and they worked out great.
Happy gifting!

Way to go! What an awesome creation from a great find! It looks like the cushoins are easy to make but I have never added a pannel of an alternate fabric inside. Did you use a rotary cutter to get the edges straight?
698  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where to find black and white stripe fabric? on: August 22, 2006 08:10:24 PM
Why not pillage some second hand shop and  re-construct what you want out of the garment that you find?

Pinstripe or wide stripe?

If you are in Vancouver, BC there is Fabricana in Coquitlam , around Ikea.............they always have some deal on.......usually. Wink
