I love it, especially combined with your lace top.
32  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: German-themed embellishment on: November 29, 2006 05:02:58 PM
I just can't think of anything German to use as a decoration other than beer.

 Cheesy Good old German beer...

Its really hard to find German sites with free embroidery patterns, especially tradional ones.
Here are some of my ideas: If you want a Bavarian theme add some pretzels, a white/blue rhombic pattern, beer and flowers.
Flowers always match. There is a traditional type of painting, called "Bauernmalerei". Try to make your own  pattern. Look up my search http://images.google.de/images?svnum=10&hl=de&lr=&q=bauernmalerei , maybe it could help you.

Clever idea.
My old shower curtains never look like this...I have to throw them away, what a pitty.

Thats amazing! I love all the blood  Cheesy
What did you use to paint on all the images? I love it! Great job!

Thanks. I used fabric paint (from "Javana" and "Marabu" -available in Germany).

Zombie Bob Ross-Priceless! I also LOVE horror films, a little more than your average horror film geek Grin.

Hm, Im the average-horror-films-one. I dont know much about that genre, but my boyfriend does (its his hobby, not mine). I just cant stand films like "Cannibal Holocaust"... Roll Eyes

37  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Come one come all post your new tattoo IDEAS! on: November 22, 2006 03:39:09 PM
Hm, this is a simple idea, but its hard to explain.
My boyfriend and me want to get something like a "date" tattoo. No date-of-marriage tattoos or things like this. No, just the date of the day we got our tattoo. Its completly nuts, but we like it.

Thank you!  Smiley

Love the Bob Ross "Happy Little Trees!"

A small German tv station showed some old episodes (late night, early morning). We loved to watch Mr. Ross and his fabulous fluffy clouds and happy trees at the weekends.
First stadium - it looks perfect. Second stadium - one brush stroke and it seems as if he ruined it. Third stadium - after all it still looks perfect.

wow! i can't believe you freehanded the whole thing!!! i would not have the patience to work on such an elaborate design...

to think that the majority is hand drawn...

Well, I was too lazy cutting so many stencils. White fabric is a bit transparent, so I used the patterns to draw the outlines (getting the right proportions freehanded just needs too much time). The rest was quite easy to me.
See, I cant play any instrument, I cant knit, I cant crochet and Im really in doubt about my "motoric skills", but with painting and drawing its ok.

I did this shirt for my boyfriends birthday five months ago (should I mention he loves horror films?). Its not really stenciled. I combined various stencils and pics I found on the net and drew them freehanded onto the fabric.

"vernaehtundzugestrickt" ist ja der Hammer!
Obwohl ih mich machmal schon frage, unter welchen Substanzen die Guten stehen...
Vielleicht schaffen die es ja mir stricken beizubringen...nee, unmglich. Roll Eyes
Da es ein ziemlich abitioniertes Projekt ist (so mein Eindruck), wre der nchste Schritt -tataah- ein schnes Forum. Problem gelst, nur Geduld.
