2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / friendship bracelets........i'm mildly obsessed!!!! on: July 31, 2006 09:31:14 PM
remember the friendship bracelets you used to make in elementary school?
about a year ago, i found a half-completed one in a pair of jeans i never wore.  since then, i've been making them like crazy, and they've gotten way more advanced.  they're really good to do in class, at least for me, because i could still pay attention and do them at the same time.  Cheesy somehow i dont think i'll be able to do that next year in college, though!

i have a ton i've made over the last year, and since i have no idea what to do with them all i just keep them in a box.  about half of the ones i make i give away (since they are friendship bracelets) and then the rest i keep.

anyways....heres a sampling of the ones ive made

3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / newspaper covered journal on: July 31, 2006 03:54:00 PM
This was a pretty easy project, it just took a really long time to finish because of all the tiny strips of newspaper!
I just glued them onto a composition notebook (my favorite to cover because you dont have to deal with the spirals on the other kind of notebook) with a glue stick and then covered the whole thing with mod-podge when it was fully covered.

I'm not sure why I chose newspaper, I thought it might look kind of neat when it was finished  Cheesy
