This is my 3rd attempt at shorts, and i think i've finally got it right. (you know a project was a success when you want to wear it out that night)

aaaaaaaaaaaaand...this was the only front view picture i took, unfortunately. ignore the text and my level of ridiculousity..

any feedback is mucho-appreciated =]]

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / 2 teacup skirts on: June 25, 2008 02:32:34 PM
I'm absolutely in love with anything excessively girly, and/or ridiculous =]
I've only made this skirt in black and beige so far, but there are more to come.

opinions? for the next one should I leave the hanging pieces from the bow like the beige one or just stick with the plain bow?

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Barbados Tulip Skirt & Vedette Frock *pics fixed on: June 20, 2008 01:10:11 PM
ahoy craftsters!

I loooove tulip skirts, and they're ridiculously easy to make =]
This one's especially fantastic 'cause I added pockets

This one is still a work in progress, but i couldn't help myself from posting pics anyways:
As you can see it's a bustier/poof skirt deal, back zip and velvet (wierd, right?) detailing on the top

feedback is much appreciated  Roll Eyes
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Money Maker Vest on: November 26, 2007 09:41:51 AM
Yeah, so this was one of my first experiments using an actual pattern, i used mcalls (don't recall the number) but it came out a bit big. i think i'll stick to drafting my own patterns from now on, nonetheless i like it =] felt cut-out on the back, green silk lining, hidden snap closures, named for the new rilo kiley song, haha.

the left armhole looks ghetto ^ 'cause i got a little camera-happy before i finished the vest =p
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Oiseau Makeup Clutch on: October 23, 2007 10:23:54 AM
Hey guys, this is a little project i whipped up on a whim, but i think it turned out pretty well  Smiley
materials are lavendar felt, pink bias tape (i think that's what it's called) and some assorted odds and ends. the embroidery on the top flap is an abstract eagle of sorts; hence the name Oiseau Makeup Bag

feedback is much appreciaaaatedddd  Grin

kinda hard to see but there are two compartments, and the bag stands on it's own)

(excuse the hokey-ness of my pics)

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / adorable 60s lbd with pouf sleeves on: July 10, 2007 11:31:13 AM
Hey guyssssss!
this is my first actual post, any feedback is more than welcome. I made this dress about a month ago, the white/orange fabric is from a thrift store and the black is your standard joAnn's. I really have no idea how to describe the sleeves, I made them this way on a whim and adore them.

apologies for the crappy pic quality :/
