V. v. cute!! The bow makes all the difference!
Just a query- when it's off, is the neckline at about the same angle as the abercrombie one? I've got an ugly old black top that i'd love to try this with!

Heya
I'm not exactly sure where this goes- move it if this is wrong  Smiley
Anyway, i have two little twin cousins, who are 1 in a couple of weeks. I would love to make them something, but i'm not really sure what. Any ideas would be appreciated.

p.s. i don't have a sewing machine, not can i knit, nor do i have any drawing skills *i.e. my cats look like trees*, so that rules a few things out  Wink
954  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re:Tank tops with Ribbons on: June 05, 2004 03:53:09 AM

on one of the early episodes of 'the apprentice' (the first one with coed teams, i think) one of the teams did a whole bunch of stuff with tshirts/tank tops and ribbon

lol this is completely random but this ep of the apprentice has only just shown down here in kiwiland  Grin

I loved the tops they made tho, i've got a red wife beater that i'd love to do the thready style 1 with, maybe white ribbon

956  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Millions and Jillions of Dice (es?) on: June 04, 2004 07:15:25 PM
Sorry, i'm an english nut but the plural of dice is die  Smiley
Anyway, a kool as photo frame would be if you stuck some old playin cards round the edge of a frame, then did a little outer layer of small dice, sorta a gambling themed photo frame.
That was just a random idea lol

Actually I believe die is the singular and dice the plural!

How about getting one of those little paper mache drawer thingummies, painting it and sticking dice on to be the drawer handles?  Then you could use it to store the rest of your collection.

Whoopsie
same diff lol

958  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: dance wear on: June 03, 2004 11:41:52 PM
I started dancing when i was four, and i LOVE legwarmers! i picked up an awesome retro-looking pair for $5 from a .............. *get this, you'll never believe it* SURF SHOP! aint that scary? anywayz, a gr8 way 2 make them is to cut the sleeves of old sweaters, the tight end should hold them up
also, the new *in* thing is those ballet flats. They are $15 from our local discount shoe place, i got a white pair w/ a lil pink fel flower on the toe, and some beads on the front. They are really groovy!
Dancewear is awesome!
