Here are my final projects of 2012 before I head on over to the new 50 projects thread.

All 13 mother flippin' Christmas mugs:

Plus the Santa I made for Racky in the HoHoHo swap. (I don't think I've shared it on this thread yet.)

I made this guy for rackycoo in the HOHOHO swap. I knew I wanted to make something in the ceramics studio and she collects Santa figurines. Ergo...

The base is a hollow ball, thrown on the wheel. I sculpted his arms, legs, and head and added them when the base had stiffened up a bit. He's painted with underglaze and porcelain slip and then some clear glaze to make him shiny.

My influences for this guy include Tim Burton's Santa from the Nightmare Before Christmas, and Neil Gaiman's movie, Coraline, especially in the button eyes.

I don't have an exact measure of his size, but he's around 5 inches tall.

I made some more pottery. This time I used paper snowflakes as stencils.

*On the phone with my mom right now. Gunna look though y'all's stuff and I'll be back in a sec to comment.

Also, ps, I have more pics of these on my blog.

Ladies, get your pinning fingers ready. Because our super fantastic organizer, rackycoo, sent me the most awesome package ever. My theme was "Snow" and everything is beautiful and so perfectly tailored to my taste.

But first, check out the pretty wrapping. I love that bakers twine.

Small HO number one:
The most precious little deer ornament, made from a vintage candle holder. (This one was hard to photograph.)

Small HO number two:
Beautiful holiday garland made with vintage bingo markers.

Big HO:
A painting featuring my pup! Isn't it adorable? Even my husband loves it.

Thank you so much, racky! I love everything!

I haven't checked in on this thread in a while. There's some great stuff posted here! I love the fabric banners/buntings or whatever you call them.

I've been making a lot of pottery lately. I'm not sure if I should count each one as a project? Or each group as a project? Anyway, here are some highlights.

Here's a little mug I made in a wheel throwing class a few weeks ago. I've taken ceramics classes before but it's been about a decade since my last one. So I'm pretty proud of this mug. It's about 3" tall and 3" in diameter.

I received a lovely package from the wonderful and talented Molliemoo2883.
*I apologize for the image quality. The light was uncooperative today.*

Group shot:

Closeup of the tote with felted flowers plus a snippet of the scarf. The scarf is a soft (cotton jersey?) circle scarf. I love the colors!

Nautical headband. So cute and fun! Plus a domino Alice pendant and 2 super neat fused glass pendants. The little green one is just my style! I love it!

I <3 NY glycerin soap. And I think the others are (please correct me if I'm wrong), 2 homemade glycerin star soaps and 2 round lotion bars. I can't wait to try them out!

Some pretty blue and gray roving to play with and a skein of handspun! The handspun is super pretty with shades of turquoise and like a wine color.

Thank you so much for everything, Molliemoo2883! I love it all!

I received a fantastic package from onegrooovyday! She spoiled the heck out of me and everything she made is super awesome and very well done.

First up, one of the main things I wished for was a circle scarf. And she made me this one. It's so soft and cozy and I love it! I think I'm going to get a ton of use out of it this fall and winter.

And then she made me a ton of small things from my pinterest! Check 'em out!

Beautiful thumb tacks. My favorites are the mushrooms and trees.

Nifty reusable bowl covers. Like this. I love the colors and fabrics she chose.

Pretty embroidered dandelion plus Keep Vermont Weird sticker.

And these tie bracelets. I love these! And again, I love the fabrics. (And yes, they do fit. Quite well actually!)

Thank you so much, onegroovyday! Everything you made is perfect for me!
