1  Re: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Swap - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by BloodyDeaf on: July 27, 2009 08:14:33 AM
Sorry for being so long to post pictures, I've been busy a lot these past few weeks. But here it is, finally, acquiesent's wonderful and marvelous package! She did a great job for her first swap and I just love everything she crafted for me! Thanks a lot Cheesy

First, she sent (as an extra, she said) this lovely and adorable litte furry creature from Alfa Centauri. It's crocheted and absolutly too cute!

Then, I received this perfect little box with pictures of red-haired Ford on it! (I think he's hilarious in the comics with his red hair!!!) In it, I found magnets with words from the book! Every important names and nouns are there so I can write quotes on my fridge Cheesy

Guess who came out of the box next?? Marvin!! She embroided me a perfectly cute and depressed Marvin and I just love it sooooooo much!

And guess whatit lights up!!!! She inserted a circuit in it and the three little red diodes are flashing! Its so hilarious to look at Cheesy

And the last but absolutely not the least, I received a green wallet that I now bring with me everywhere and am really proud to carry Cheesy She printed little images related to the books on the fabric and in the wallet, she printed Earth to fit the Mostly harmless written! All the fabrics she used are beautiful. And to look at the Dont panic written on it helps me relax whenever I have to pay something AHAHHA!

Thanks a lot again, acquiesent, you were a wonderful partner and I love everything you sent me Cheesy

I received from Orgelpunt yesterday! I'm really amazed by what she sent to me!!! It completly made my day Grin

First, she made a great and comfy orange blanket that I absolutly love love love love! And the blue and sweet little thing is a coaster that I fell in love with.

Then, she made a frame out of an old book. The picture is a vintage postcard (she send two others) and the inside is collaged. It is so nice Smiley

Finally, she made four bookmarks that will be pretty useful to me and that are lovely! She also made a stamp of a gingko leave(inspired by one of my favorite book : Balzac et la petite tailleuse chinoise) and one with my name to print in my books. I tried it in my copy of Balzac et la petite tailleuse chinoise, of course. And she sent some belgium chocolate that is irresistable Cheesy

Thanks a lot Orgelpunt, this package is great and I absolutly love everything  Grin

Here it is, my first try at fusing plastic bags...and making something neat with duct tape! So, it's a basic tote with duct tape handles and applique from the Hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy which is the best movie ever! It took my very little time to make it and almost nothing is sewn! I think i'll use it to carry my stuff at school ^^

Thanks for watching, critisme and comments are welcome.
