1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: An amazingly yellow dahlia for winter use on: July 06, 2010 12:09:20 PM
I don't think it looks too yellow, it looks FABULOUS!

You should keep it as is and get some lovely yellow shoes to wear with it, it really is gorgeous Cheesy

These are just gorgeous!

Such attention to detail, your stitching is just so perfect and flattering on the jeans, your girlfriend is very very lucky!
A really brilliant job!

i knew it was a flashlight  Wink

Aw, you're too kind  Smiley

I've been practicing that song on the guitar for a while now - so good

Wish I could play the guitar, am jealous of your skills!

I think about my BF whenever I hear it too  Smiley

I love having songs that remind me of other people, you've got good taste  Wink

I could probably fill my entire house with lyrics from their songs...

Such a cool idea, I love getting typographical signs from tumblr, printing them and popping them up on my noticeboard  Smiley

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / "I will follow you into the dark" hand cut mini poster on: January 19, 2010 03:46:37 AM
Being away in college means that I've got lots of time to craft, yet no room for craft supplies. So recently I brought up a scalpel and a sketch pad with the hope of being creative!

Last September I made this, kinda just to practice a few techniques. My boyfriend had just introduced me to this song and the title really appealed to me. I'm a typography lover, I'm addicted to seeing things like lyrics visually...

I know it's really rough and the photo is just taken with my phone, but I'd just like to say about anyone thinking of doing this - DO IT! It's simple and really rewarding  Smiley

Here's the pic:

The thing at the bottom was supposed to be a torch but turned more into a broom.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for reading all this,
have a lovely day

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sparkly Mario Eveningwear! on: July 23, 2009 02:16:14 AM

And I know thats what everyone else has said, but it's true

You stuff is simply stunning. I would kill for any of the pieces.
Is it sad that I really REALLY want the Mario dress for going out tonight?
You've truly inspired me... Cheesy

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Polly Pocket bracelet! on: June 04, 2009 01:25:42 PM
Ah, I had forgotten about Polly Pocket...

It's such a great idea to turn them into something wearable, and a definite conversation starter! I remember having one that came with a wee village scene and you moved her from house to shop using a big stick with a magnet underneath the base of it.

It all went downhill when the company that made Polly, Bluebird, was sold off to Mattel. Now they make 'Polly' with rubber clothes and she wouldn't fit in your pocket, that's for sure!!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: more new purses from scratch! on: May 29, 2009 04:09:46 AM
Love the colour combo of the last wee pouch!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: L is for Lion Applique - w/ PATTERN!!! on: April 28, 2009 11:47:33 AM
AW! I just love this!

My name also starts with 'L', so this is something I may just have to consider doing!

Can never get enough personalized stuff... Cheesy
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Doctor Who Collage...help! on: April 26, 2009 05:07:04 AM
Oh, so nice to see the Doctor this early in the morning!

Wow at the link up there, I shall be trawling through that to get some new icons!

I would also suggest going somewhere like iconator.com
or if you're on livejournal, friending a few icon communities and dr. who communities.
You'll be sure to get your fix somewhere!
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: I love you bones and all!!! on: April 16, 2009 04:57:00 AM
Am super envious! This is just the kind of stencil I'm always looking for, something a bit different from the usual band stencils...
Will start searching for that image straight away, I want a tee as cool as that!

You did a really good job, am hitting the 'this rocks' button, 'cuz you totally deserve it!
