131  Re: Birthday Month Swap- April in The Swap Gallery by la_chrystelle on: August 14, 2006 09:50:12 AM
since Minusxl3lindfold had been flaked I become her angel and send her some jewerly she would like to have. It was hard but I did both of her styles, the rockabilly one and the girly so there must be something she liked. Today I got here messages she recieved luckily. ( I was a bit scared that it got lost because it took longer than normally, probably the holidays...) Well Here it is what I made here.

A pin.

A bracelet.

dangly earings

the necklace. there is a bow lace at the back aswell, but the picture did turned out. she can took of the bow lace as well of the bows at the middle cause it's attached with a clasp ( did you noticed? I didn't knew if I did write that to you...) in fact she didn't like that so she could wear just the necklace, which is made of different kind of beads in the colors white black and pink.

132  colorfull wristlet, first one with diamond kanzashi flower IKEA in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by la_chrystelle on: August 12, 2006 05:04:09 AM
today I made my first wristlet and I pretty happy with the results. Right now my sewing machine is broken, but I recieved my serger today and since I need to try out my serger ofcourse I was like well I can try to make a wrislet on it and see what happens, well this iswat happened. I might make another for etsy, so any comments are welcome ofcourse! Oh and there isn't a zipper yet because I can't do that on my serger, can I? So I have to wait and fix my sewing machine. And yesterday I asked for a tute for kanzashi flowers for some dress I am doing and I got an I was addicted immediality to it so I had to at one at my wristlet too! haha OH and fabric is of IKEA <3

Wow, that's so cute! The beads are such a perfect touch. Great job. Just wondering, what does the back look like?

here you go.
sorry for being so late, I am in my internship thing and I had to get two magazines out which have over 100 pages, so there was no time for me left! Sad

oh and don't mind my pinkish bra!

134  amazing black dress with wooden details! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by la_chrystelle on: July 22, 2006 06:23:03 AM
Yesterday I bought the new burda and a saw a dress which I really found ugly but the idea was good ( that orange dress at the beach pages ) So I just modify the pattern and myself a dress which I really love... looked up trough all my fabrics, ( since I haven't more money to spend this month to buy some new ) and came up with some black fabric, I don't know what kinda fabric it is, but I like it. It's really soft too... I used the pattern which is in the burda, but maked it shorter at another back part with a zipper in the middle ( since the fabric isn't that strechy and I don't like dresses which are too big for me, it makes me think I look soooooooooo fat ) and didn't use the second strap thing. This came out... I've added some really awesome wooden beads ( which I can take easily of when I am washing the dress, so the don't will be damaged ) which I actually bought for a necklace, but it looks better on my dress and at a ribbon part at the hips with 2 wooden circle to make it like a belt...

135  corsage in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by la_chrystelle on: July 21, 2006 06:02:31 AM
I was just surfing on the internet and came up to this weblog... http://mollychicken.blogs.com/my_weblog/2005/10/corsage.html ( here you can also find the tute) and I really liked the idea... Cause as a sewer you know you have many left overs which you actually can't use, but now I could use them for this project... this came out. ( I did it kinda different then the tute says so it's a bit different )

it's not the real good top to wear it on...but I was too lazy to rechange my clothes, it's too hot!

136  sleeve ending thingie... (wrist cuff?) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by la_chrystelle on: July 20, 2006 11:56:33 AM
don't know any name for it right now... sorry but I hope after seeing the picks you understand... I mad a sleeve ending, which you just can at to a blouse or top something like that, yeah you could wear it this way to as kinda braclets, but that wasn't the whole point of it and I think it looks just better on something. it was quiet simple to make this since I only needed some lace ribbon and some push buttons ( you won't need them when you have strechy lace ofcourse, but this on wasn't! ) I added some things to it, I am not sure if I keep it on it, because it not that real comfortable as you know... lace and charms... but it looks good on it... this one is a bit gothic related, I am not kinda like that but I really likes to make things in that style because you can put much things and fantasy in, but I want to make those in other colors as well later...

sorry pictures are kinda screwed up... it's terrible but I hope you can see through it and it maybe helps you to make something else
