1  Project Thoughts... in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by AlliCat236 on: December 29, 2006 05:56:54 PM
I just got this super-uber pretty wool handspun that's pretty thickish. The only problem is that I've only got 91 yds of it. Any thoughts on what I could do with it besides a hat? Right now, it's enough just to pet it but eventually I'll need to do something with it. Smiley

Here's what it looks like:

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, guys. I'm just so happy to be done with these. Especially with a day to spare! Smiley

3  Re: Irish Hiking Wrist Warmers in Knitting: Completed Projects by AlliCat236 on: October 14, 2006 04:37:20 PM
I just made my version of the Irish Hiking Wrist Warmers. I used Lion Brand's Wool-Ease Worsted Weight in Denim Twist. I used less than a skein and they were really fun to make! I'm making my sister a set next.

I also made this hat last weekend to break out of my knitting funk. It's really old Red Heart in light and dark purple. They didn't have labels so I have no idea what they actually are.

Please ignore the circles under my eyes. Too much knitting last night!

4  First big project - Wavy Afgan in Knitting: Completed Projects by AlliCat236 on: August 03, 2006 07:19:18 PM
Hi guys! I've been lurking for awhile and have been impressed with all of your stuff. This is my first big project. I started working on it over Memorial Day weekend. It is about 60" tall and was 195 stitches across. It was Creative Knitting's Campus Bound Afgan (or something like that). I'd love any feedback that you have to share. Thanks!!
