1  Re: I <3 My Yippie Little Dog Swap Gallery (Sendouts by: 7/2) in The Swap Gallery by caffeine_fiend on: June 27, 2007 07:12:34 PM
Ok so my partner Lindsey Goes To Eleven is out of town, actually out of state right now so she has given me permission to post pictures of her package. (Which has mysteriously yet to move from the post office I mailed it from).

Anyway, the first item is a set of cards, puppy themed of course, to send out for various holidays or such.

The next item is a set of recipe cards, strictly for puppies only! They range from biscuits to egg nog! Complete with a cookie cutter.

Next was a horribly made pillow/chew toy that my dog has lovingly helped to try to destroy. lol

The last item is a soft comfy bed for Cosmo to enjoy with an enlarged dog bone to cuddle with.

I hope you and Cosmo enjoy everything!!

I posted an idea in here a while ago but I just thought of something else. Hopefully it hasn't been mentioned since.
First I found these:
But also; something like this:
using a bike tire as the base maybe?

Reeses and I recieved from Lindsey Goes To Eleven!! OMFG Its amazing!
You guys will be sooo jealous. My dog got soo spoiled its almost pathetic. (And he knows it too!)
FYI this post will be huge! and excuse the bad pictures. I tried to get some at my puppies hyperist point of the day (bad, bad).
The odd packaging

The cool tent thing-ti-pee! Its freaking amazing! And my dog will not get out of it. (except when he hides from the other dogs and leaps out when they walk by to jump on them....)

These amazing crotchet balls that my puppy is currently scared of. Haha. I have no idea why. I tried to get an upclose of the fabric the pad in side the tent is made of. it says 'puppy love'. Its super cute!! But again. My dog was upset when I tried to pull it out of the tent!

Hah. This is me trying to get a picture of a braided yarn toy. He literally will not let go of it since he got it. Its been inside the tent or his mouth.

The cutest little jacket. Hah ok big jacket for him. He's not being very nice to it though. He thinks its another chew toy, thats why there is no picture of it on him. Its also reversable! Little puppy paws!

And plaid!

And to top it off an adorable little frame that she painted and put a clay figurine of my dog on it. I couldn't get a picture of it though because of a shadow. (plus some Reeses candy!)
I can't believe you made my puppy so much incredible stuff!! Thank you so much! Your an amazing crafter and made my first swap the best!! Your stuff is almost done. I think I will be sending tomorrow but I'll let you know for sure then.

I keep forgetting to put up pictures of my lil rascal.
Here's my mini Reeses Pieces (Yes after the candy)

He's wearing an adorable tux in this picture bought for my boyfriends brothers wedding.

Heres that bowl that batgirl was talking about:

It's super cool! I keep meaning to make one for my boyfriend but I never get around to it.
One thing I did for my boyfriends brother though, (he's not in the army but works on the base) I made a chess board and used army men as the pieces. Super easy but kind of nice too. He loved it and uses it all the time. (avid player)

Also the tabletop and jewelry links:

6  Board Games in What the heck can I do with THIS? by caffeine_fiend on: May 25, 2007 09:51:32 AM
So I have this old Chinese Checkers Board Game. I don't have a picture of mine but this one is the closest I could find on the internet.
It's circular, about 1/2" deep tin.

We no longer have any of the marbles for the game so we can't play it.
I really want to do something crafty with it. I love the little indents where the marbels go. Maybe something to excentuate that? I have no problem painting it (though what kind of paint would I use?) I don't have a use for a table top so please don't mention that. The only thing I can think of is a wall hanging/picture thing. Any ideas are great though.

I also have an ANCIENT Sorry Board.

(Roughly what it looks like)
Any creative ideas for this would be great also. Most of the cards are missing, as are some of the pieces so anything that could maybe incorporate the pieces I DO have, would be cool too.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has old board games and no idea what to do with them, but I searched on here and couldn't find anything. (at least in the first 9 pages of 70) so sorry if repeat.
