Here are all the wonderfully generous presents i recieved from gossamer_gull. I couldn't believe how many little wrappedup presents there were...they just kept on coming out the box!!

She did an awesome rivateinvestigator job on mywists and came up with so much wonderful stuff!

First of all this awesome bag covered in cherry blossom which i am currently obsessed with because my next tattoo will be cherry blossom across my back.

I love the little flower on the strap Smiley

But as if that wasn't enough i also got a box acked full of goodies!

The little box itself is cute and japanese-y (two things i love!) and inside it were three fimo magnets (currently on the fridge holding up my takeaway menus!) shaped like my favourite thigs (cupcakes, sushi and cherry blossom), loads of stickers including teen titans which rock!!! two of thegeek pride items that ivehad on my wists for ages meaning to make but nevergetting around to it...a chipboard keyring and a spirit level necklace which are amazing. A pack of shrinky dinks which are so hard to get in Wales so i'm thrilled with, awesome cherry fabric (which will become a purse i think) matching ribbon and two more cute ribbons. and a very cute card!

Thank you so much i love everything, you went truely above and beyond! A thank you note is on it's way to you as we speak!

Yay I'm first!
I recieved a wonderful big box full of goodies from chimerix in hawaii last week which seriously made my week. This was my first swap but after this I think i might be addicted!

I love everything I recieved but my favourite has to be my book bag which is already full of all my uni crap and getting admiring looks around Cardiff.

I also got the most wonderfully spooky Mark Rhyden inspired doll who has spent halloween scaring off trick or treaters by staring out of the window next to my pumpkin (she also scares my bf which is hilarious!) I love Mark Rhyden's bleeding eyes! She also came with a little gothic photoframe with interchangable photos of her in her "previous life".

I also asked for an apron as I tend to get in a floury mess in the kitchen and my did she deliver. The only problem is that its so pretty that i can't bear to get it dirty and may have to wear it out of the house...nothing that well madeshouldbe hidden away!
I love the crossed spoon and fork and the skirt material has hundreds of dancing skeletons which don't show up well on the photos.

This littl guynow entertains me on my desk, i realise he has a pink boy but he's still a guy....he told me!

THese got here just intime for halloween Smiley

And I also got a snack to replenish the energy i used boubcing around the room!

Thank you sooooo much for a wonderful first parcel, mine doesnt even begin to compare to yours but I hope you get some enjoyment out of it anyway! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Grin

5  Female Robin aka Stephanie Brown in Halloween Costumes by NELLYSAM on: November 02, 2006 04:44:52 PM
This year I decided to embrace the wannabe comic book geek within so after much umming and ahhring and leaving everything till the very last minute I made my little, very simple robin costume about half an hour before i left to go party.
I swear only one drink is mine:P Not sure why i'm slightly green either...
(in the middle..duh!)
I din't take my camera with me  so please excuse the lack of pictures, you cant really seemy cape in these either.

It's far from perfect and I wish I'd had time to make a working utility belt so that I didn't have to carry a bag all night (makes crime fighting a bit tricky you see) and I'm never very good at keeping masks on (they go walkies) but it was warm thanks to the two pairs of leggings...one pair was waaay to see through for such a short skirt and practical thanks to the hotpants underneath so i could dance the night away without all and sundry seeing my....secret identity Wink
Anyway thank you for looking Smiley

6  Sushi, sushi everywhere! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by NELLYSAM on: September 28, 2006 09:44:39 AM
this is my first time posting projects so if i mess up im sowwy!

It was recently my bf's birthday and as he has a new found love for all things sushi I made him a couple of sushi related items.
He's just got his first car so i made him some sushi fluffy dice.

And as we've just moved into our first apartment together i made him a sushi pillow for the sofa

I'm now working on a california roll beanbag/foot stool and another rice block with egg for the sofa

Thank you for peeking  Smiley
