I've got one =)

It's new and there are a lot of broken links, but I'm working on it =)

Tell me about it.  There is one in particular, Cast on Cottage, where my aunt and I went one afternoon.  NO ONE offered to help us and when we checked out, the woman said NOTHING to us, not one word.  Just looked at me and waited for me to pay.  I finally said "THANK YOU!"  and left.  I am never going there again.  Several other knitters have complained about them also.  What attitude!  Love, love, love String of Purls.

I've also had the same experience (more than once, actually) at Cast on Cottage.  In fact, I was in there a couple of days ago and left pretty angry (although I did purchase and nice orange sock yarn that my SO loved).

I can deal with being ignored as I like to shop without interruption anyways, but what I can't deal with is people talking to me like I'm an idiot.  I should have known after the first bad experience not to go back, but it was the closest LYS at the time.

I wasn't really sure where to put this.  It pertains to knitting, but it's a sewn project (and almost like a wallet in a way).  Anyways, this is my first ever sewing project made from my own pattern.  It's got tons of mistakes and imperfections, but I think it turned out pretty well.

The needle case closed.  (I'm missing the ribbon to keep it shut).

A shot of it open.

Some detail.

Thanks for looking!
