now i don't feel so bad about the amount of DVD's we have

Ditto! We have a shelf similar to this, which was found. But it has taller shelves so we have two layers in each shelf  Shocked

How long did this take to do? And, if easily explained, how did you go about it? I love it!

nicole, what type of crafting do you do? I moved from the Ditmars area to Sunnyside recently. There is a small craft group in Astoria I know of. I'd be interested in getting together!

I LOVE you for doing this!!!!!! There was someone at the BUST Craftacular selling these for $20. They were gorgeous but I figured I would just make them myself. Now I'll be on my way to Michael's because of your reminded inspiration!!!!!!!!!!

They look beautiful!

AND Queens!!!!!!

Please come see us this weekend!

We're trying to keep a crafting group going in Astoria, it's tough with such busy ppl.

I know that the majority of us will be looking to put together some more craft shows. Maybe we will be able to do a larger one with some craftster ppl?

I'll meet in Williamsburg but I can't do it this weekend, maybe the following.

Hey everyone! I'm not sure if any of you are located in Astoria or there abouts but a number of ppl from our neighborhood are having a craft fair this coming Sunday.

you can check the blog here: http://astoriacraftcollective.blogspot.com/

If you're interested in being a part of Astoria Craft Collective then just reply!!

Also, please stop by the sale this weekend. It is taking place at the Waltz Astoria at 23-14 Ditmars Blvd. For those of you who don't know, Astoria is extremely accessible. Take the N or W train to the Ditmars station, make a left onto Ditmars Blvd. then walk west(down in numbers) until you hit the Waltz Astoria between 24th and 23rd Streets.

There will be tons of beautiful things! AND you'll get a chance to meet some fellow nyc crafters!

oww!!!!!!!!!!! hope you feel better soon!

I saw the x-ray and thought it could make a great double layered screen print! One screen for the bones and a second for the screws/metal. just a creepy little thought. . .

I love all the costume! I was Medusa this year as well!

I painted the snakes, cute them up and sewed them in by hand to the wig. My fingers hurt after stitching through rubber! The wig I started with was a 'dreadlock' wig, though it was actually braided and not like dreads at all.

I also did the face painting.

this is definitely for Halloween only. Unless you're . . .going swimming?

I agree that you should wear some combat boots!
