So, I finally took pictures of everything! Here is the first thing I made. (a paperweight, feel free to laugh!)

and here is a plain blue bowl I made, just a little bit bigger than an average bowl.

33  Bronze Frit Glassblown vase, candle holder in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by timarie on: October 19, 2006 09:08:13 AM
Here are a couple things I made over last winter. The larger one is about 6 inches tall. Both were made with clear glass and bronze frit which has a blueish tint in certain lights

34  Re: Show off your hair! And questions about hair styles! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by timarie on: October 16, 2006 09:10:50 AM
I say go for it. My hair is a bit shorter than that and it's been this way for over a year now.(before I cut it it was to the middle of my back. I have curly red hair)

Anyway, I LOVE the first cut you put up and I think it would look fantastic on you. Plus winter clothes look much cuter with short hair.

If you're itching for it then just go ahead and do it!

edited to add some recent pictures; I've had my hair cut since then but these are during August

35  Glassblown Drop Vase- Edited Page 1 Photos in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by timarie on: October 07, 2006 08:00:20 PM
I took glassblowing classes early this year and made a ton of things. This was one of my favorites. I'm just a beginner and would like to take more classes but they're SO expensive. My boyfriend signed me up for a six week session for Christmas. BEST GIFT EVER!

This is one of the drop vases I made, a light blue glass with multi-colored scraps melted in. The tragic story of this is that the stem was absolutely straight with a diagonal mouth right before I flashed it for a few too many seconds. It began to melt downwards and this is as straight as I could get it after that.

I still like it

36  Late Summer Dress- I know it's October! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by timarie on: October 07, 2006 07:54:50 PM
I made this over the summer but I didn't really put it to too much use. It's just brown jersey with a thicker blue knit on top. my sister wearing it...

and the back...

I ended up cutting the braided straps down a bit

37  Re: quickie dress that anybody can make in Clothing Sewalongs by timarie on: July 07, 2006 06:01:50 PM
This is my first post, although (obviously!) I've been looking at the board. I hadn't sewn in a couple of years and thought that this could help me get back on track. I always tend to move from one craft to the next!

This is before I realized I needed to straighten out the straps.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for posting this dress and tute! I absolutely love it!!!
