3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: A different kind of button necklace... on: December 10, 2007 03:04:07 AM
Such a nice idea. You could use different shapes too...like circles and ovals hehe and use a miss - match of buttons rather than just one colour. The possibilities are endless! :]

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Question about pin badge charms on: December 09, 2007 02:33:59 PM
Bit of a silly question really but its bugging me loads!
I have seen loads of cute charm bracelets with pin badge charms on and was wondering how you actually turn the pins into charms.
I was thinking...take the pin back off and then use a metal hole punch or a drill?
Was just thinking how you craftsters go about it?
Thanks for your time :]

Oh woah! I work in a craft shop and we have stuff called shrinkles. None of us had ever used at and i was real curious to how it would turn out because the pictures looked so darn big but the badge backs or keyrings looked so small...but now i know how it would look! Hehee.
Its so cute. Love the skull idea. Im tempted to try now.... Tongue
