Cheesy cute!  and you have no idea how PLEASED I am that you posted a link to such a great font site.  I never even considered looking for downloadable dingbats fonts for stenciling!  A whole new world has opened up before me!!  Thanks!  (and my baby daughter thanks you, too...she will have sooo many new onsies...).

I'm so glad you did this tutorial and let us know how they turned out!  I had a similar idea after looking at all the cute light strands at Target (and gawking at the ridiculous price for a set of 5), but I was hesitant to try it out because I wasn't sure how to make them safe...

HOWEVER, yours (and presumably everyone elses) are doing fine, so I am ALL over this project!

Firstly, that outfit is awesome!  I'm planning on sewing some sweet (not-so-sweet) stuff for my baby girl to-be (due in January).

But probably you parents would be the ones buying most of the clothes, so there's nothing that says that she would have to wear "girl clothes"

not necessarily...in my case, as soon as my husband's side of the family heard that we were having a baby girl, we were BOMBARDED with pink.  And this was mostly coming from 40-50 year old women, so it was like...the collared pink outfits that look like they're from the nineties.  oh man.  I mean, I'm really grateful for all the generosity...but couldn't they have given me the chance to pick out clothing for my own child?  couldn't they have bought me a baby bath tub and boppy pillow instead? haha, oh well.  people love buying baby clothing.
