great shirt-- I was actually thinking of making the same one for *my* boyfriend...or myself  Grin.  I'd say creationists are high on my list of pet peeves (ok, my feelings are a little stronger than 'pet peeve'ish).

I know I'm years late to post on this thread, but...these are AWESOME!  I've never seen any slide lamps previously...my mind is blown!  This is going on my endless list of "crafts to do".

I love this kitchen, and I love the background story...I really appreciate that you want to make a pretty home for your daughter (my daughter is 13 mos now), I've been bothered by how un-toddler friendly my rented house is, just biding time until our lease ends and I get a higher paying job (and my husband finishes school, etc) and we can move and I can provide a nicer home for my daughter.  Anyway, back to my point  Shocked:  your kitchen is gorgeous!
25  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Ami Owlies on: February 22, 2008 09:40:07 AM
Okay, okay.  I am at my breaking point.  I MUST learn how to crochet!  Your patterns are adorable!  Do you have any book suggestions for someone who has never touched a crochet hook?  I want to get started so I can justify a mass purchase of patterns...heh. Grin

That.  Is awesome.  My daughter will be wanting (nay, needing!) one of those in a few months or so, I'm so glad to have the inspiration.

That skirt is wonderful! I may have to attempt something similar (but a little longer) for my 'business attire' wardrobe... Grin
