sweet jesus, this is spectacularly amazing.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Thank You, Have A Nice Day! on: January 09, 2009 05:32:25 PM
This is such a great idea.  I always kind of chuckle at the thankyouthankyouthankyou design some generic bags have...it is made so much more obviously funny when embroidered on a cloth bag. Again, this. is. awesome.
3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Labcoat stencil- apparantly the wrong fabric on: September 24, 2008 09:58:12 PM
Too bad the lab coats are a weird fabric.  My boyfriend is a microbiology major, my ears always perk up when I hear 'microbiology'...
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Praise Seitan! on: September 07, 2008 07:03:10 PM
oooh, seitan is my favorite.  This cross stitch is the best EVER.
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Ami Discworld! on: August 16, 2008 10:20:07 AM
W-O-W.  This has to be the cutest/most beautiful representation of disc world ever created!  I mean, really, though.  It must be.  I haven't read a Terry Pratchet book in a long while, but he (and disc world) have a special place in my heart, heh.  Fantastic job!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Hooded towel ponchos on: August 07, 2008 08:47:45 AM
those are great!  If I ever went to the beach, I might make some, haha.  And I agree with you on the 'why do we ever buy toys' thing.  My daughter prefers to play with rocks.  Yeah.  Rocks.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: New spice, umm rack, err holders, um spice container solution??? on: July 15, 2008 08:41:00 PM
wanted to say thanks for the idea!  I used an instructable and made one--but they are mounted on a sheet of steel I screwed into my kitchen wall.  Best spice rack ever.
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Growing Tree on: July 15, 2008 08:38:55 PM
This is absolutely beautiful!  I am covetous!  the 'bark' detailing is awesome, the colors, the way you cut and sewed the leaves....everything!  If I ever quit being lazy, I'll be making one of these for my toddler.

I'm not familiar with Raffi, but I love the assembly of paper.  It turned out really nicely!

I work at target, and it was the first time I encountered carding for rubber cement.  The register prompted me to scan someone's ID and I was just mystified for a moment (as was the customer)... but no harm done, I guess.

10  COOKING / Dessert / Re: My Pretty Daffodil Cake on: July 01, 2008 06:02:40 PM
um... AMAZING.  My favorite flower in cake form!  What could be better?
