I love this pattern, its so easy and goes by so fast! I used yarn that I hand dyed on US 2 needles.
3  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Fall Collection Sock yarn on: September 08, 2007 06:57:51 AM
Candy Corn

Autum Leaves

Wicked Witch

Pumpkin Patch

My favorites are Wicked Witch and Candy Corn. I used koolaid and icing dye to dye them.  All of the skeins are Merino wool and 440 yards. I want to try some superwash but it costs $2 more per skein so for now I'm sticking with non superwash.

Thanks for looking!

Sleeping Beauty

Yarn for Jaywalkers

I've been dying yarn for awhile now but I haven't posted any of my yarn here, I just forgot.  All of these yarns are Merino wool and each skein is 440 yards. I used koolaid and icing dye on them. I like koolaid better,  the icing doesn't mix well and it doesn't get absorbed into the yarn evenly.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / A few FO's for me plus a WIP on: August 18, 2007 08:01:38 AM
I haven't posted any FOs in awhile on Craftster.  So I figured it about time i did.

First we have a pair of socks for my dad, the yarn is KP's Memories, knit on US 3

And now we have a pair of Hedera's for me. the yarn is KP's Palettle, knit on US 2

The pattern is Socktopia's Mystery Sock pattern, I actually have more than this finish, I just haven't taken pictures yet. The yarn is dyed by me, knit on US 2.

And now for some yarn. Dyed by me for a pair of Jaywalkers.

Thanks for looking!

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Glass bead stitch markers(5 pics) on: June 26, 2007 06:55:06 PM
I started making stitch markers after I saw ones someone else made. I would love to know what everyone thinks. Thanks!!

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / More Monkeys on: May 19, 2007 01:04:32 PM
Yes, I knitted me some Monkeys. Everyone else is, why shouldn't I? I love this pattern, it was really easy to follow. I can't wait to try more of Cookie A.'s sock patterns! I used KP Memories, I wish i used a lighter colored yarn, it's kind of hard to see the pattern in this yarn but I still love them.  It took me about 3 wks to finish them but I was working other project too.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / felted tote bag on: April 24, 2007 10:41:18 AM
I wrote this pattern. I'm thinking of submitting it to Knitty. But I don't if its Knitty material. So what do you think? To submitt or not to submitt, That is the question. Ok so that was cheesy.  Grin

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / my first pair of socks! on: March 20, 2007 08:49:16 PM
I just now finished them about 10 mins ago. I'm pretty happy about how they came out but the not the bottom of the foots of the socks, I don't know they turned out like that, I'm pretty tight knitter. who knows?

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Come on Spring bag w pattern on: March 05, 2007 06:23:27 AM

I designed this bag. The yarn is Knit Pick Wools of Andes bare that i dyed. One skein of bulky(stripped) and one skein of worst weight. I dyed the yarn with koolaid.

Cast on 40 sts of the worst weight yarn on us 11s. knit 40 rows. Pick up sts along all other sides with the bulky yarn with US 15 needles, join in the round. Knit until you run out bulky, go back to the US 11s and the worst weight yarn. knit about 3 inchs. Knit 9 icords, i used US 9s you can make those whatever size you want. Felt until its the size you want. sew 3 i cords together on both ends, repeat until all icord are done. and sew the 3 big icords to one side of the bag and braid and sew icords to the other end.

I hope that makes sense! if not, just ask.
