OK, I know you sell cool ways of tracing your designs onto black fabric, BUT have you by any chance done any research on making a direct stamp method for dark fabrics??? I think embroidery on dark fabrics pops like nothing else, and I have designed my own way of getting the designs onto dark fabrics, but you can bet if there were a simple method where I could just iron it on I would be thrilled.  I have a bit of experience in the printing industry, and I know that the iron on transfers really can't work that way, but wonder if something else would, maybe a steam set of some type....Anyway I guess what I am asking is do we have any hope? Is it a topic on the mind of the guru of patterns??? I always feel a bit mean when I trace a pattern instead of using it.... After all, the more I buy the more you design right??

I am soooo longing to sign up, but I know my workload is too hectic and there is no way I could keep up right now......and there is just no way I would let anyone down with something as cool as this.....I will totally be watching this though, and hoping for a next round :-)

Yeah, slow down you are making me look bad!!  Grin

Really though, just this morning I was having conversations with a skein of simply soft in violet, and it said it really wanted to be one of these... and I envisioned it then told it not to hold its breath.  At my speed it would be antique violet by the time I finished.  So maybe you could make some of his siblings happy......

Um, yeah... only that this is absolutely adorable!!!! I LOVE it!!

Do you mind letting me know what you used to interface it?  It has GREAT body and shape......

I am using simply soft.... It is actually a deep red color, but I guess it does look pretty pink in the photo.... oddly enough, the photo doesn't seem too far off from the color, for the FO photo shoot I will have to do outdoors to see if I get better color capture....

Try knittys calorimetry! That was my first real FO.... easy stitches, just do what it says and it all works out and you begin to get it.  I find with knitting, doing what they tell you is half the battle, then you start to understand how it all works and fits together.

Love this bag... made one last night!!!!  Elvis on the outside black stonewash on the inside! I love this because it feels SO sturdy, looks good and give me a place to use all the novelty fabrics I have accumulated over the years. 
 I used almost 1 yard of each , you could probably get by with 7/8 of a yard......
