That is super sweet. Maybe you could put a snap-fastener and it'll let you put things on and swap them for others without potentially stretching the stitches. I think I might have a go at this and try it with snap-fasteners (I'm always scared of stretching my stitches or warping them if I'm not incredibly careful with safety pins).

soooo cute, maybe fnd some hello kitty fabric and take out the sol cover it then slip it back in and voila hello kitty on the outside and inside.
