Love the hat and the color on you is great! 

If your yarn is angora you may want to leave the hat a little loosely knit. Angora is so hot!  I once made my husband a wool blended with angora hat and it was too hot for him to wear it made his head sweat, and thats not a good thing when its super cold out.

I have patterns made by
haven't knitted any up yet but plan on doing so.  They don't have a hibiscus but I bet you could make one out of the tiger lily with a rounder petal and more petals?  good luck on finding a pattern to suit your needs.
