95  Re: Ongoing Offer What You Have (Crafts/Supplies) Swap - April in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Velvet Rose on: April 19, 2007 04:40:28 AM
Hello I'm Velvet Rose, and have been PM'd by Miss V to say I am approved.

I would like to claim muguet for the 2 Chenille Thick n Quick Lion Brand yarns.

Here's my list:

Pick any one:

Felted ocean picture (wet felted background with needle felted design)

Vintage Butterfly fabric - seems to be cotton. Approx 1 1/2 yards.

Holiday Pointsettia fabric - cotton. 2 pieces approx 1 yard each. I somehow managed to cut the photo off when I was editing it - but I hope you get the general idea. PM if you would like to see a better pic.

Crocheted donut with seed bead sprinkles (this came from a swap but alas I have nowhere to display it)

Collection of seed bead & bugle bead necklaces - most are strung and part of a necklace, but there is also a small container of loose beads. I bought these necklaces & cut some of the strands to use some of the beads, but you could easily fix them up to wear as necklaces if you want.

OR Pick any 2:

Rapunzel necklace - Midwinter

Rapunzel necklace - Starburst

Rapunzel key ring - Blueberry (I will attach a key holder to it)

Vintage Holly Hobby style braid - 2 pieces

Vintage braid with kids designs - 2 pieces

Vintage braid with animals - 1 long piece

Neon rainbow ribbon - 1 long piece Claimed by rainbow

Unopened seed bead necklace set

Holiday fabric with hollies - approx 1 yard

Gems - I cut these out of an 80's belt. Some have a sort of stud on the back but you can cut it off

Ribbon flowers and sequins Claimed by raynbow

Assorted silk flowers and leaves

I received the most AWESOME swap package ever from Silver Ilix today.

She totally spoiled me with a large box containing:

- 4 beautiful bags of wool fleece that she washed and carded herself - 2 of these she also hand dyed and 2 were left white for me to dye :-)

- 6 packs of Kool Aid for me to dye the white fleece with

- 2 hand knitted washcloths

- 1 pretty set of earrings

- 1 very sweet necklace

And if this wasn't enough there was also
- a cute little notebook

- a set of flower candles

- a box of Toffifee

- a lip smacker

Thanks Silver Ilix. You totally rock!!!

97  Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 21 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Velvet Rose on: April 18, 2007 05:42:55 AM
I received 2 great swap packages this week.

First a really great sewing goodies bag and some pretty crocheted flowers from la_chrystelle. The bag was made using fabric hand painted by gathered_threads.

Here is the inside of the bag (not a great photo unfortunately)

Next I received some amazing yarns for Rapunzel scarves and crocheted flowers from gathered_threads. (Unfortunately the photo doesn't do the colours of the yarn justice)

Thanks ladies. You rock!

I am on a roll....

I made 2 more Rapunzel scarves the other day

First this one:

Then this mermaid/ocean one. It has about 60 strands of yarn/ribbon and has some tied to some of the ends.

I just had a brainwave!

A fellow Craftster sent me heaps of crocheted flowers and they match my gelato scarf perfectly.

So I threaded them through the ends of the scarf and VOILA.....
