11  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / This year's christmas cards. on: November 26, 2006 09:20:57 PM
Last years cards were a disaster and all traces of them have been thankfully destroyed. This year, I kept it simple and am quietly pleased with the results!
Too new to insert an image, but the piccy is here.

I was originally planning to be very traditional with greens, reds and gold, but then I found the ribbon in fabulous retro styles and wanted to use those instead.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Domino bracelet on: July 10, 2006 02:16:16 AM
This actually worked out like I thought it would - cause for celebration in itself Wink

It's dominos (obviously) with slips of pages from an old book stuck to them. I glued those little flat alphabet beads (painted them black first) to the backs of the dominos to run the elastic through rather than drill. The whole lot is sealed with nail varnish and spray gloss on the beads - I had them strung on a wire to spray so I didn't block the holes.

I've a few more ideas for these, but I'd like to know what y'all think. I wore it to work today and it stayed in one piece! Cheesy
