1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Jordy Bag - Square Bottomed Lined Bag Tutorial on: November 29, 2004 04:10:17 PM
This is fantabulous!!  I think this would also make a stylish diaper bag for hip moms.  But compartments are essential for it to be transformed to a hip diaper bag.  Do you have suggestions how to make the compartments?  (like pockets, zippers, and stuff??)

This is neat.  I love blankets.  I have a website just for it...www.babyblanketsetc.net  It's still under construction.  BUt I just thought I'd let you know that your blanket was cute.

I completely agree with you.  Ebay is a lot of hard work.  I'm sure it's worked for some, but it hasn't worked for me yet. I tried selling my baby blanket but I have lost money more than I have made and I am at the point of giving up.  But thanks to your advice - maybe it does work out that way and I have to try a different approach to it.  Maybe somebody could give me an insight how ebay's worked for them...I could try that approach.  I'm open to suggestions.

Hi, Long time lurker first time poster.
Everyone is always telling me how great ebay is and for some stuff I agree. But I do think most people are looking for great deals there.
When I first started selling stuff I did Ebay never had any luck with my larger stuff but the small stuff I put up (Burp cloths embroidered with smart ass comments) flew out the door. I sold them for $15 for a set of three and shipping, this also sent people to my website.
I tried to sell my baby blankets there and just couldn't get the money I needed to get for them; so I went back to the small stuff.
Somewhere in there is my answer LOL! If you have smaller things or something you can sell at a lower price put it on Ebay. Get the people hooked.

8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Re: Baby Boy or Girl??? on: July 16, 2004 03:33:10 PM
When I was pregnant, I chose not to know the sex of my baby either, and I got myriads of "generic" gifts.  The one I liked the most was this infant growth chart and blanket in one... It's not too feminine nor too masculine, and most of all it serves a great purpose and a nice keepsake - charting my baby's growth!

I liked it so much that I started carrying the product on my online store!  To learn more, you can go to:

This is amazingly innovative...Now I found a way to use those books on my shelf that are just sitting and collecting dust!

Thanks for sharing and more power to you!
