2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / baby baby baby blanket! on: June 29, 2004 03:25:59 PM
hi all.

as a new knitter, i am basically trying to tackle a big project: making a baby blanket.

it's a relatively easy project.  i'm working with lionbrand's homespun in hepplewhite to make a receiving blanket for my new son or daughter due this september. hopefully i'll be done with it by then! Tongue

only thing is i've started it on straight needles and it's getting way too big to fit on them, i might have to switch to circs before it gets all weird on me. Undecided
3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Body butters! on: May 09, 2004 08:38:36 PM
Hello everyone! Cheesy

I am new to the board, but have been lurking around for a while. I have always had this thing about making my own lotions, lip balm, and body butters. So far I've gotten some great ideas about lip balm and lotions, but I am very curious to know if anyone on the board made their own body butter? I would love to hear about your ideas and your recipes! Thank you very much!
