What a beautiful color and sweater (and daughter)!  I wish I wasn't allergic to wool because some of the WOTA colors are so pretty!

(whenever I get around to knitting MY CPH it's just going to be wool-ease Tongue)

Man, I'm totally behind on my ugly ass raglan.  I think I screwed up the neckline, and it's kind of lame that I'm realizing that NOW.

Haha I made a hat for a friend of mine with the exact same colors (and multicolored dreadlocks)...I should make her a pair of matching gloves, since yours are so awesome!

Oh my goodness!  I LOVE adorable little thingies (especially the cats and birds)!  Now I'm for serious going to learn to crochet so I can make an army of little thingies (of course I would not share them).

Also, if I were a kid, I'd totally buy all of them.  I would probably do so even now.

(We had those kinds of bazaars at my school when I was a kid, but they only ever sold manicure sets and money clips).

that and maybe the cotton ease/plus. are they soft?

Cotton Ease isn't too soft, but I really like how it knits up (it's also not itchy at all compared to a lot of acrylics--I have insane wool allergies AND extremely sensitive skin to boot)...Cotton plus is pretty soft, though.

I love the tams!  I've been waiting to find something I can make with the yarn I dyed last year (I tried to make it change colors like Noro--I wasn't too successful).

I use a lot of acrylic because I am too lazy to handwash things (in addition to the allergies).  I really like TLC Essentials, which is like red heart but squishier.  I'm also a fan of the cotton/acrylic blends (Cotton Ease, Cotton Plus, etc).

Also, the Debbie Bliss cashmerino and the RYC Cashsoft yarns do not affect my allergies, but are more expensive.

I suddenly got the dumb idea to knit hats for everyone in my Japanese class, plus fingerless gloves for all my advisors (I'm graduating next week and I have four advisors), and then there's all the Christmas knitting.  Dear lord, what have I gotten myself into...

Needless to say, sweater is on hold until January, I guess.
