1  UNITED STATES / California / Ventura County.. Central or Southern? on: January 29, 2008 10:06:53 PM
I'm trying to figure out if I would be considered in central or southern CA?   Huh  Or at least were the majority of the people from my area if they're posting in here are posting.  If that makes since... thanks!

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Pattern help on: January 27, 2008 02:28:41 AM
I've been crocheting for years... great items purses, bags, hats, anything I can think up. Grin  But for the life of me I can't read patterns.  I so want to and I just bought a great pattern from someone on Etsy and once I looked at the pdf and saw that it was in regular abbreviated pattern form I blanked. I have the book Crocheters Companion and know the stitches and what they are called and I can translate it.  I just blank when they start saying and go into the 3rd loop or around here or there.  Undecided I sound dumb.. lol, but I find it very frustrating that I cant seem to do this.  Has anyone had this problem and have any idea how to maybe simplify this or maybe an easy pattern to get me over the hump! LOL
Thanks.. April
