1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knitty Winter 07 on: December 07, 2007 08:56:09 PM
this issue is SO incredible!
I already am lusting after Ice Queen and Jeanie, and even though I'm not much of a sock knitter I love all of the sock patterns. Abotanicity is absolutely beautiful, but I don't think I would ever be able to make it, seeing as it's a full-size tunic in sock yarn and size 1 and 2 needles.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / green and brown gingham jumper! on: November 07, 2007 05:44:27 PM

My very first machine-sewn garment! I love it.
The sizing was a bit messed up, as I had to take off about 1 1/4 inches on each side to get it to fit, but other than that making it was really enjoyable.
I used McCall's pattern M5313 and made view A.

Thanks for looking!

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / clementine on: September 25, 2007 05:50:12 PM

Pattern: Clementine Shawlette from Spring '07 IK
Yarn: 90% Wool/10% Angora recycled from a thrift store sweater (about DK-weight)
Needles: Size 6 circulars

This was a nice pattern to work and the grafting worked out surprisingly well for a perfectionist like me. I'm looking forward to wearing this cozy shoulder wrap around the house on what will probably be many rainy days here this fall and winter.

Thanks for looking!  Smiley

Thank you guys! I'm wearing them as I type this.

wow those are really pretty! good job! btw, is that an emilie henry cup you're holding?
I don't think so, my friend got it from goodwill and gave it to me, and it says 'Home Trends' on the bottom. It's still my favorite mug though!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Endpaper Mitts on: September 21, 2007 05:26:45 PM

Pattern: Endpaper Mitts by Eunny Jang
Yarn: Louet Gems Pearl, one skein each of Lilac and Cream
Needles: Size 1 and 2 Brittany DPNs

This was my first successful attempt at colorwork, and I'm really happy with them.

Thanks for looking!  Smiley
