71  Re: colorful wires from a mouse in What the heck can I do with THIS? by marmota-b on: September 10, 2006 03:45:37 AM
My friend made a bracelet from such wires for me... it's very nice and simple. Though I don't know whether wires from a mouse aren't too short.

72  Doggies pendant made of clay in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by marmota-b on: August 20, 2006 10:53:36 PM
I made it in art class... would you believe that it was developed from shape of a spot on my desk?
The picture is "larger than life". That's what our scanner makes. So you can enjoy all details, like the small scratches I made accidentally. Wink The original is about 6 cm in width.

73  Wire jewellery - 4 pictures in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by marmota-b on: August 20, 2006 10:36:13 AM
It seemed to be a common way of making jewellery, so I was really surprised not to see much of it here.

One or two of the rings must have been done by my friend, but I really don't know which...

Two bracelets and a necklace-to-be - I haven't finished it yet.

A necklace - my most complicated piece of jewellery so far. I love it, but I have no idea where to wear it.

This is little bit different. Ignore the handkerchief, it is there only to keep the necklace in the right position. I only think I should have put it on the feather, so it would be seen better...

74  Rat-catcher illustrations in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by marmota-b on: August 18, 2006 12:38:29 PM
It is one Czech book I love. So I decided to make illustrations to it. Just for fun (and for my art class, but shh...)
I made four pictures, but have scanned only two of them, one from the begining of the book and one from the end. As soon as I scan the other two, I will add them here, in the right order.
I used graphite pencil. All pictures are A4.

75  Woven bag in Weaving: Completed Projects by marmota-b on: August 10, 2006 01:49:39 AM
This is my very first one, so, please, be tolerant... I'm making another one for my sister, which should be little bit better.
I made it on frame loom (hope it's the right term), using my fingers and a comb. It works quite well, but it's killing...
The things on it should have been antelopes. But they don't look like them... Angry
I used wool yarns dyed at home (not by me) and something else, not wool, which had suitable colours.
It's very useful while travelling, to have my passport and purse at hand. It has a webbing to be worn over one's shoulder - it isn't seen well on this scan.
