Ok, this may be a stupid question but how do you keep the resin from dripping off the edges of whatever you're working on?

well, it probably would just sit right on the right person but I think I'm going to put a drawstring in.

That rug is very cool...thanks for sharing!

I just wanted to add, if you're lazy (like me), a lot of art supply stores sell artist canvas already primed (usually with white gesso).

Hi Ally!
awesome! someone with the knowledge of where to start organizing a craft fair!  The open art day was fun, three craftsters were there:  getinmymouthstuff, whirligig, and me.  i think between us there is a lot of energy to put behind organizing a punk/DIY/craft fair.

we should all get together maybe next sunday afternoon, at a coffeeshop? (full circle has open art day only everyother sunday) we can craft and discuss a plan to try a craft fair.  I vote yes! I also propose EVP on East Washington at 1pm on Sunday.
ps. ally, what do you craft?

Ok, do you mean Sunday  the 16th?  I'd be available if so.  Also, where exactly is EVP on East Wash?  I'm more familiar with the West side.  As far as crafting...I usually need access to all my supplies so I'm not sure what I could bring to work on...I'll try and think of something otherwise I'll just bring a notebook to take notes  Wink
I'm new to craftster.org but I do a little bit of everything....I've just started getting into reconstructing clothes  but I also do altered objects (like books...I just got done making a book into a purse), collage, assemblage, digital art, etc...

Hello! I'm kinda new to the whole reconstruction thing.  Here's the second skirt I ever made using a yin yang t-shirt...wish I could model it but I made it too small OOPS!
Comments welcome  Smiley

WAH!  I just joined craftster so I won't get to go to this meeting cuz it's too late but I wanted to say I have experience organizing largish faires and would definately be willing to help out in anyway.  (you might of heard of Art and Inspiration which I organized 2 years in a row here in Madison...we had art classes as well as a vendor faire).
Anyway, let me know...and how did the meeting go?
