11  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Question concerning ear peircings on: July 08, 2005 12:38:53 PM
Question, if she gets it done at the peircing place, will it be easier to get the peircing stretched when she older?
Sorry for askign so many questions, shes asking me to ask them.

I dunno, she also wants to have them stretched some day.  I guess the peircing/tatoo palror is the best decision then?

Lol...I don't really have any bangs.  I cut them myself recently, and they are only JUUUST touching my eyebrow, so I can't really hold them back, lol.

my ears were pierced 6 years ago with a gun - they still aren't healed properly, there is also amuch greater risk of getting something really nasty because the only part of the gun that is sterile is the earring - whereas a good piercer will have EVERYTHING sterile.
and sharp needles hurt less
I would look for personal recommendations - and make sure you find a nice friendly piercer that will be nice to an eleven yr old and that has a clean studio. I would visit before hand or jsut have a chat when you make an appointment

My other sister got her naval peircing and eyebrow peircing from this one guy, she recommends him.  So maybe him?  I dunno.

My lil sister (11, same one I mentioned before) wants to get a facial peircing when she is older.
But, she says she wants to find aout more about it, to know for the future.  I was hoping you guys could recommend some links.  If you want to know what peircings she wants, just ask.

My little siter (11) wants her ears to be peirced SO badly.  But people advise not to get it done with a gun at the mall.  If not there, WHERE should she get it done?

K, officially scared to get my ears peirced now.   I'm ignorant but...If not at the mall or osmeplace, it would have to be at a PSESHUL peircing place right?  I really doubt my mom would take me or my little sister to one of those.  She would demand we do it at the mall or soem such place.
Hmmm...

Okay, my mom cut my hair to mid neck length and well...I wanted em-ish short hair and i got....helmet hair! gasp! shock! horror!
Its very poofy and curly, and thick and turns at the tips.
What can I do to make it look GOOOOD?!? It looks horrid.  And it has to be cheap, because basically all my moms income is going into making MORE income (ebay auctions, shipping stuff to customers) and I have 0 income of my own.  All I have for styling is some spray gel and moose and hair spray.  Pathetic, I know.  I'm a horrible girl :p

Also, this may be stupid, but I was hoping I might be able to do something like one of these, because I'm not opposed to getting my hair cut again.

Really?? A baked potato??
Really?? A baked potato??

I can make rice in the microwave and I was going to try spaghetti but I never got around to it. And now I'm moving out so it doesn't matter anymore. But I'd like to know more about this baked potato thing... Seriously I need step by step instructions otherwise I'll ruin it. I'm one of those people who fails at boiling water.
