I love Chinese take-out boxes. Get so disappointed when I order take-out and it comes in styrafoam containers!

Anyway!  These are so cute!  Beatifully done.  FYI, you can make your own take-out boxes with this template courtesy of Milkwood Designs:

Sorry, can't help you with the markets.  I live in Houston, and we have tons of HUGE Asian Markets.  So wonderful!

Are there any military bases near you?  They tend to have a large Asian population around them.

As for breakfast ~ I love brown rice and eggs with a little soy sauce.  I know it sounds weird, but it's wonderful.  Give it a try.

Here's a link for one of my favorite, easy veggi recipes: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_19535,00.html

It's called Tofu Ranchero.  I modify it a little by first cooking the tofu cubes in a little oil and throwing in some taco seasoning (I get the big container of taco seasoning @ Sams ~ I use a lot!), and then cooking the veggies seperately, also w/ taco seasoning.  Then I add the tofu back in and add the salsa.  Yummy!  I serve w/ cheddar cheesie (I'm not vegan) and diced avocado.  Everyone loves it, and I'm the only veggie I hang with.

Wow! Really wonderful color.  You can't help but feel good in such a cheerful home.

If you don't mind sharing, where did that big red couch come from?  It's exactly what I have been looking for.

Kingwood is up N59, past Humble. Both of those thrift shops are on 494, which runs parallel to 59.  There's also a Goodwill in Humble where I sometimes find something pretty good, but I think their prices are kind of high.

I'm in Kingwood.  There are several good thrift shops in my area: Family Time, which has a $5 bag sale on the last Wednesday of each month, and an ARC (Animal Rescue) that has a $5 bag sale on the 3rd Wed. of every month. Also HAAM in Humble is a good one.  Any good thrift shops in the Spring/Woodlands/Conroe area?
