1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / clay replica of Phoebe Lou on: March 31, 2010 03:16:22 PM
Phoebe Lou is a red beagle who is turning 1 year old this Saturday. Just for fun i wanted to see if I could make a mini Phoebe out of polymer clay. Here's the result.

I couldn't get a good picture of the face.

The real Phoebe.

What do you think?
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / "this is my mix tape for her" on: March 02, 2009 04:13:04 PM
you guys have probably seen a billion of these after chezlin's awesome tutorial (http://www.chezlin.com/2008/04/cassette-tape-tutorial/) but I figured I'd bore you with just one more cassette tape conversion.  I'm going to use mine as a case for my Creative zen mp3 player.  Grin sorry about the terrible camera phone pictures

the inside. its lined with fleece to hopefully prevent more scratches to my zen.

front. its silver, the lining is dark pink, and the star is teal.

the back. i drew the stars with teal, lime green, dark pink, and black sharpies.

Thanks for looking!

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / creative zen hoodie on: February 27, 2008 11:55:59 AM
this is my creative zen(aka the love of my life)

this is its brandie new hoodie. its made from fuschia fleece(fuschia sounds cooler than pink Wink). the lining of the hood is fuschia and gold with gold string for the pull cord things or whatever they're called. i made it using a tutorial from www.diynetwork.com.Theres a hole in the bottom for the headphones. I was thinking of cutting out a square inside for the screen but i don't know if it will fray? i use the pocket for my ear buds to keep them nice and toasty. sorry the pics are blurry  Undecided

closer up

lining of the hood

thanks for looking!
comments are appreciated!
