i know project linus is a popular thing for groups to do-
you just by some fleece, and then work on fringing the edges and tying the fringe. it's quick, easy, cheap, and helpful.

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Last minute birthday present on: December 15, 2004 02:19:03 PM
Due to all the christmas shopping and such I've put off making a friends present until the night before her birthday *innocent nod*.. Here is a bit about her.. I can't exactly go out and get anything now.. but i do have fabric stuff.. so sewing ideas are valuble as well. Smiley

She's a guitar-loving, clay aiken obsessed vegan... She enjoys the beatles, watching audrey hepburn, food, funky jewelery, and just about anything else. Smiley Thanks for your help.
6  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Tofu Recipes on: December 11, 2004 06:39:32 AM
I use the ground tofu stuff.. I think they call it Tofu-ground..and it looks just like ground beef.. This opens up possibilities like chili, veggie-tacos, lasagna, veggie meatballs, pastas with meat sauce..

I just use any standard acrylic paint. The consistency works. Haha, hope that helps.
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Shoe Clips on: September 04, 2004 06:12:00 PM
Smiley Thanks for nice comments.. Yeah those clip on earring backs work really well, but I was at home and too lazy to go out and buy some, so I made do with what I had- bobby pins.

No I didn't spray paint them or anything. I just took regular ribbon, doubled it up, glued it together, and sewed a bow in the middle.. and then glued it to a bobby pin.. very easy. Smiley
