1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Janome Magnolia 7318 Vs. Singer 8763 Curvy on: May 14, 2012 08:10:45 AM
I am finally getting a new working machine, and have narrowed it down to these two options. Has anyone used either one before? Which would you get if you had the choice?

Yay! A terrible picture of a mostly flat tip toe through the tulips!

After I finished this one I ran around to everyone in the house and demanded to know if they could see the flowers.

And I think this is eternal braid. I had to add a LOT of rows to this one to make it 12". I think I did 5 extra?

Ugh, I love how soft and squishy these things get after their first wash and dry. A few new ones! I am going to try to remember what these are.

My version of the spa cloth in a twists yarn.

Itty bitty basic cloth the size of a kitchen sponge.

And...I've completely forgotten what this is. The pattern just says "dishcloth".

So I am now up to...8? I think.

It looks so delicate! Beautiful.
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My First Purse on: November 10, 2011 07:51:11 AM
Thank you! It wasn't nearly as hard as I anticipated, although I need a lot of practice lining up seams.

As a reptile lover, I can assure you that this may be the most awesome little guy I have ever seen. I love it!

Yay! I was hoping this would show up.

So what is the view on cross posting? I am working on a CAL but I would love to post the finished squares in both places.

That was actually a huge help.  Grin

It turns out that row 5 was off, which was throwing off everything else! I've frogged back to there and hopefully this will work.

Thank you! I actually let my dad pick out a lot of my colors. He was a construction worker for 35 years, but he majored in art in college.  He loves to help me pick out yarn and nail polish.  Tongue

Here are some pictures, you can see its curling up like a bowl...
