1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Tentacle ring? on: June 24, 2009 08:50:14 AM
Hey everyone,

I've been looking around trying to find a cheaper alternative to a tentacle ring I found. Sadly, I don't have $160 to shell out just for one ring. Cry Anyway, does anyone know where I can get a cheaper one or a fairly cheap way to make one for myself that looks like this: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26445287  It's so cool! But I just can't afford it... Cry

Thanks for your help!
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / How to carve stone animals? on: February 25, 2009 07:41:53 AM
A friend of mine gave me some big chunks of unakite and I want to carve them into little animals. Does anyone have any idea on how to do that?  Huh
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Front Tie Top like Rascal Kosher's? on: February 24, 2009 08:40:30 AM
Has anyone found a pattern free/purchase like the one Rascal Kosher has for the 1940's red gingham sun top? I can't seem to get in touch with her, and I've been driving myself crazy looking for a copy of this pattern on Ebay and whatnot. Please someone help me find this pattern or one that looks similar! Thank you for your help!

This it just as cute as your red gingham one!  It makes me yearn for summer.  Did you draft the pattern?

Thanks dear.
This one is slightly different to the other one, but it's from the same pattern from Simplicity.

Do you have any more info on it other than it's a Simplicity pattern from 1944? I'm having a terrible time trying to find a pattern for myself. Embarrassed
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / WWII era Pin-up style patterns? on: February 11, 2009 09:37:34 AM
I'm starting to get into the vintage look and was wondering if anyone knows of any free WWII era Pin-up style clothing patterns that I could use. If I have to buy them, that's fine too. But I'd like to see if there are any free ones floating around out there first. Wink

Thanks for your help!

Oh my goodness, that thing is adorable!!!  Do you have any more information on the pattern (manufacturer, publication it was in, etc)?  I am completely in love with the neckline.

I'd have to make it longer, though.  I don't have the guts to wear such a cropped top.  Or rather, I have a bit too MUCH guts to wear it. Wink

Thank you ever so much.  Grin
The pattern is from 1944 from Simplicity, I found it on eBay when I was searching from 1940's beach wear.

I'm having such a hard time trying to find this pattern.  Cry Do you have anymore info on it, or could you possibly send a copy? I'd really love to make this, but I can't find the pattern anywhere.
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Help! Puffin pattern needed! on: January 12, 2009 09:09:09 AM
Does anyone have a good puffin pattern? I'll settle for a penguin pattern! I've tried searching, but all that comes up is a pattern for the linux penguin. That's not exactly the shape of a puffin... Please help!

No, sorry. I'm getting out of anime all together. I'm planning on seeing if the anime society at my college will want them.

Hey everyone! Cheesy

Got some handmade anime plushies from: Yuyu Hakusho, Gungrave, Shaman King, Comic Party, and Paranoia Agent. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

He has a pin on his back so you can attach him to stuff.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Scandelous Lingerie *w/pattern* on: September 12, 2008 11:39:50 AM
I'm almost done with mine. One thing though, after row 4 k4, yo, k1, yo, k4 and then purl the next row. These two rows were missing. If you don't do them, you won't have enough stitches from row 4 to go onto row 5.
