2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Life is Berry Sweet - Strawberry Swap Gallery on: October 19, 2018 02:20:46 PM
I know that y'all think you had the best partners but let me tell you, CraftADDChick knocked it out of the park with my gifts!!!!
She captured me perfectly, we've never met before (other than craftster) but she could not have done better!
The haul, look at all the goodies:

first thing to brag on:
This TOWEL!  Look at the beautifully stitched strawberry!  And it's BIG, I love big towels, I make BIG messes and have BIG hands so this is going to be my go-to from now on

look at the dainty little seed beads!  My fave!

second thing, I love pouches, especially functional ones with beautiful features, the rick rack trim is the cherry on top (strawberry on top?)
There are 2 a larger one that has a triangular shaped opening (perfect for large snacks) and a smaller one (for tiny snacks) they both have loops on the side to attach to things (brilliant!)

And here it is... are you ready??? The cous de gras, the big one, the #1 absolute most Beth thing ever!!!!!  APRICOT, HOPSALOT, AND LEMON MERINGUE!
I was (am) a HUGE Strawberry Shortcake fan, I had all the dolls growing up but time and moving and growing up soon found us parting ways and they moved on to that Strawberry in the sky.  My absolute favorite character was Apricot and her bunny Hopsalot.  The scent of that doll has stuck with me all these years and it is still one of my favorites.  Nothing can replicate the smell of Apricot.  Well guess what??? THIS ONE SMELLS TOO!  I've had her cradled in my hand sniffing her since I opened the package.  The family thinks I'm nuts.  I've just been transported back to 1983.

Thanks to everyone involved, this was my first swap, but it definitely won't be my last Smiley
